I actually watched the Indonesia vs Singapore semi final leg live on the AFF Suzuki Cup channel. That match was enthralling and bizarre at the same time. Rewatched the highlights twice. Best match of the tournament's 2021 edition.

even I as an indonesian hope to face vietnam in the final, no offence but seeing how we drew against them and watching how thailand easily wins against singapore and played better football makes me think that. Indonesia team is basically u23 young & inexperienced, into the first leg of the finals it really shows. I wish we could've played the 1st leg against thailand like how we play them in the 2nd leg. Still, with these young players and under the guidence of coach shin tae-yong, the future is bright for indonesia.
Not if the federation higher-ups continue the habit of sacking coaches after failing to give the cup.
His contracts stays until 2023 fyi, hope he can endure all the mess happened in the federation.

I saw Molina's video about Laos match fixing and i understand now why Mr K. only play for Laos since this AFF Championship : you can't say your playing at your best when you've left out the best player (of Laos football history probably).

Vietnam is currently having a "revolution" and is calling a lot of new players to the national team. We also have and had a lot of injuries that prevented us from playing well, I believe we can get a lot of good results with our new team

The future is the U19s and U21s and under that,not the U23s. U23s is when the youngsters skills,physical and mindset have been finally shaped. The only goal for U23s is the Olympics,which is why in 2014,2018 most teams send their U21s to prepare to the next Asian U23 where they are going to fight for Olympics spots. Only Vietnam send the national team to AFC U23 2018,and in AFC U23 2020 you know what happened.
Experience is a big problem for Vietnamese youth system,yes,so why complain in my face on it? Take your complain to VFF who probably are too busy counting their money.
When I say invest in the youth,I mean build more academies,invest in grassroots football,hold football competition among schools and more. There is no goddamn hope trying to improve them now,it’s too late now. You don’t even have to be an insider to know it,you just need to play a long save in Football Manager.

They never set their sight farther than Thailand,Thailand set their sight to Asian giants,Japan set their sight to the world. The result is that Vietnamese football industry is heads and shoulders below Thailand,and Thai football industry is heads and shoulders below Japan. See the problems?
When the players feel safe,so is their coaches. They never feel any reason to change their approach,knowing there will be fan like you clinging to previous results and defend him. No need to look farther,just look at Park Hang-seo. And what is the result? His tactic is so goddamn easy to guess now,his starting 11 can be guessed by a kid and because of that,we got outplayed by literally everyone in the last round and got beaten by Thailand.
You probably just a fan from AFC U23 2018. Try to dig more about football or philosophy,one day when you look back in your comments you will laugh your ass off.
