This time I'm sharing a slightly healthier version that I make using whole wheat flour instead of refined flour/ maida. This whole wheat eggless strawberry tea cake is extremely light and fluffy. The texture is honestly to die for!

Hi Shivesh, i tried this receipe by halving all proportions and it made it in a kadhai with heated salt as i dont have an oven. It looked so good in the beginning but in the midway strawberries started oozing app the juices making the cake soggy. The cake tasted good but it was all soggy.
Can you advise what can be done to avoid this.

I have baked it, texture is very good but sugar is less as I had put strawberrys in the batter,it was tasting a little tangy.will now layer it with chocolate sauce n chips

Hi Shivesh, When a fresh fruit is included in fry cakes ...it makes the cake a bit moist after sometime as the fruit releases some water ...can we actually avoid this if the cake is not to be used for immediate consumption?
