The new delnay white creature make phyrexian rot priest trigger twice along with a double exalted trigger for noble hiarch. Possible idea for g/w toxic infect¿.

Daddy has forgotten that Lightning Bolt was not legal in Standard when Lightning Helix first came out.
That I remember! But I remember reading this one online article way back in 2005 that was saying how helix is the best removal of all time, and it really captured the vibe of the moment. Given how much slower everything was back then, there was a legitimate argument that helix was better than bolt! ⚡️

@@MagicAidsanother spell that does this on its own is lich kings conquest when you play it with prototype creatures. All the prototype creatures are artifacts and conquest just cares you sac an artifact well you just sac the prototype stuff you cast for cheap and immediately get the bigger versions of them i know the cards are "old" now but something I haven't seen people talk about much and a deck I'm having good results from

Thank you for showcasing the new stuff. I'm surprised you didn't run into a Boros Warleader's Call deck! They are *everywhere* in standard. To beat Domain? I play that deck a lot. It can get out-paced by aggro and the Field of Ruin land hitting a triome is a major setback. Cool deck and hope to see more in the future.
Masquerade is rad. What do you think of using it with the Ozolith to mess around with the counters and keep the value going in older formats? It's maybe just Living End with extra steps in Modern, but it's cute. Maybe it's a Pioneer or Historic thing.
Ozolith does seem like it would be pretty sweet! We just gotta find a way to keep throwing creatures in graveyard with all of our creatures getting exiled!

@@MagicAids The LotR landcyclers seem like a big help in Modern or Historic. Basically any big idiot that plays in Living End in Modern works, you just then have to come up with a reason not to just be playing Living End.

Seems like opposing enchantments were a bit of an issue. Maybe try to go jund and add stuff like either tear asunder or ass trophy to the SB? (Since ass is back)
3 colors might be a stretch with the new surveil lands already being tough. A$$ blast trophy, as kinki as it is, didn't see play the last time it was in standard cuz giving the opponent a land is an uhoh stinky
@@MagicAids that's also totally fair. I would also compare the number of basics used then vs now as trophy does only give a basic.... Only throwing $hi+ at the wall to see if anything stuck is all. Keep rocking on regardless

Part of me feels the secondary effect could reanimate the creature rather than just bring it back to hand. I mean, 5 deaths, all the mana, 5 mills for half of a return 2 creatures spell? feels odd or underpowered but is decene I guess.

@@MagicAids oh of course not. An on going value engine, self milling for dedicated decks and free 3 damage that provides devotion in some cases, it's good. I just felt a reanimation effect would be neat

Why is there always a rakdos/izzet deck at the top tier in every format, but there is literally never a competitive simic deck in any format?
I prefer bant and I am super tired of every format not supporting one of the color pairs. Im not saying it needs to be tier one, but a competitive bant, or simic deck would be refreshing.
