  • Most fans of Major League Baseball understand the structure of Major League Baseball. But understanding Minor League Baseball can prove to be a little more difficult.
In this video, I break down the basic structure of the Minor Leagues and talk about the unique qualities of each level in the system, and also clarify some of the misconceptions around Minor League players.

The fact that there are so many teams feeding the mlb shows that baseball could have been a cultural cornerstone the same as soccer in many parts of the world. Would have been amazing to have a relegation system with teams strictly representing their city/town/community rather than franchised system where teams jump around cities.

Something that isnt stressed enough is the jump from college to the Minors. Even at lowest levels, the player talent surpasses almost everyone from out of college.
Another thing is that some Duco Colleges run world class high performance centres for baseball.

Does every village have a baseball club or is that tied to elementary , and highschools.
Sport in europe is based on the local club in britain and ireland eachsport or multisport body has its own club and mainland europe there is one club for multiple sports. The local club operates in a pyramid usual in a district competition if they are good enough they can progress to a bigger competition and theoretically up to pro level and then onto the top divisions and a club like Man U can theoretical make a journey in the other direction,There is sport in schools however its the club thats the basis
