I was in the first row at that concert. It was one of the best ones in my life, I cried out of pure joy and the securities thought someone harassed me. I was kind of embarassed to tell them that I was so happy to see Wintersun I was so overwhelmed with my feelings! Hahahah
I've been there too, just a few rows back. Felt the same, went through a tough time back then and without ever being a big fan of Wintersun, this gig at Summer Breeze just really kicked in and made me so extremely happy that I also shed a few tears of joy. Such a beautiful show.
Everyone complaining about the crowd not being alive enough. As a musician if I had been there I would have been frozen still by this epic performance and wouldn’t have wanted to miss one millisecond of it either.

I 100% agree. It's funny because usually I don't like the technique of scream that he uses (keep in mind I do love screaming vocals, but not usually this particular style), but he is so good at it, I just have to love it. Also, his cleans are powerful and beautiful. Definitely a top-notch vocalist!

He recently suffered a horrific accident involving a lawnmower that severed both his arms simultaneously. He underwent a number of extensive operations that attached a couple of donor arms from a homeless man who couldn't play guitar. Well, that's just what I heard. *citation needed*

The crowd didn't move too much but they were all just collectively chanting and shouting. Been there, was such an impressive gig!
I agree with you as I am a musician as well a saw them in two of the three US tours I just stood there in awe at there performances 🤘🏻
