@@vanalex2698 As long as mortgage rates are low (and they are usually low in Canada) it is better to finance your home purchase and keep the cash for other investments. The only thing, it is pretty hard to find a condo for $100K especially in major Canadian cities.
I live in Canada toronto area. When I move again I want to leave the city. Honestly overpriced and I’m not going broke for it. I want a backyard and can afford to live. Very nice house.

I don’t think a second kitchen is really common in Canada. It is likely that it was put in as part(along with a bedroom and bathroom) of an in-law suite or as a rental suite to generate extra income to help pay down the mortgage.
I love that the stairways are very short so you don't have to worry about the kids falling far down in case of an accident, by the way I love your home plus older homes are very nice!
