I can share some that helped me
1. Plan towards it
2. Be Frugal and minimal on spending ( don't buy why you don't need)
3. Build an emergency fund
4. Save to invest, this is most important because it's a proven way to get richer. Very important to financial success

The home is really nice and your master bedroom when there is a bathroom attached by your door in your master bedroom is called en suite, which is always nice for the master bedroom to have a en suite, and that is a nice walk-in closet, Always nice to have a large a semi large closet, the home is very sweet. 🥰👩🏾🦲😘

Took me a long time to furnish my house. We bought a lot from.the brick and some east Indian shops.
I prefer the east Indian shops they're furniture is very unique and much bigger for my tall self. The couch frames were much higher

I never liked when they use to cut the backyard fences like that but I understand it's a safety issue but when you have kids you need privacy. What the city started doing was allowing wooded fence doors on between every backyard which was much much better. We had to chain the backyard bbq to the fence and everything else had to go in the garage but sometimes it's annoying because the kids want their toys outside in the back to play with.
Just pray you have good neighbors who don't steal.

With the rate at which Nigerians are relocating to Canada, in the next 5 years, Nigeria will experience shortage of talents. Whatever you are doing, don't sell your asset in Nigeria.
Canada is no longer the way it used to be. You will discover you are spending 60% of your income on groceries and 35% on taxes. What is left for you?????.
Welcome to Canada. I left Canada permanently last year after several years of tax burden. I hope your new country treats you well and whatever the case is, there will never be a place like your home country, Nigeria.
A reverse trend is coming soon and by the time Japa people realize, foreigners would have invested massively in the real estate properties in Nigeria. So foreigners will be renting to Nigerians who will be returning enmass after years of Japarism. May Canada treat you and your family well.
Eat healthy and maintain a good weigh. Be active and invest in quality organic foods.
