It's sad we'll never see this again. Kids now are all focused on tik tok and those popular teenagers. While I'm a kid just watching June, Johney, Jessie, Waylon, Hank Jr. Loretta. I wish I was alive when they were alive or really active. I live this video thank you so much. Their so funny 😂❤️

I saw Johnny and June at Lulu’s Roadhouse in 1991. He slapped her ass and she wasn’t impressed. Lol, they put on a great show.

Yeah...that had to have been a tough time for her....I know the Good Lord helped her get through along with all her loved ones...She is a wonderful wonderful lady.
Lot of tragedy to fall on such great people. Remember what happened to Waylon when he first started in the business with the tragic death of Buddy Holly. Hank Jr said Waylon never got over it!

It’s crazy the group of friends these people had Waylon Jennings, Jesse,Johnny Cash, June carter , willie Nelson, Roy Orbison, Kris Kristoferson , Hank Williams jr, and more that’s just what I could think of off the top of my head. Today I can’t think of that many talented people that aren’t so full of themselves that they have that many talented friends this was a special time for music
It was a different time, they all used to tour together, in buses and cheap hotels, package shows. They just really got to know each other so much better than the coddled stars of today. I truly do have a ton of respect for the stars of the previous generations.

I loved Jones confidence and ability to steal the show and take the lead...compared to the more reserved Jesse. Even tho Jesse is a commanding presence too
June is certainly funnier than Jesse, but Jesse was mom was a minister, classically trained on the piano and she was so damn cute when her and Waylon started dating, love her to death.

You are too sweet Sally! I'm with you; the love they have for each other, which is plain to see, is beautiful. I posted a video a while back that a dad wrote and sang a song to his newborn daughter and somebody gave it a thumbs down, so I gave up trying to figure some people out a long time ago. June of course was born into legendary status. Her mother Maybelle was part of the trio of the original Carter Family. Maybelle, cousin A.P. and his wife Sarah. June would tour with Maybelle and her sisters. That's how she and Johnny met. June was first married to country music legend Carl Smith and had a daughter Carlene Carter. Johnny's first wife they had daughters one which was Rosanne.

3 of the 4 are gone now, but if all 4 were still here, they certainly wouldn't be in good voice anymore, but the gift of watching them all together, aging gracefully to me that would make them sound better than ever.

Jessi is a fine word crafter. Has a beautiful voice, and plays an excellent piano. June is playing a beautiful guitar...but it sounds like crap.
Jessi was a classically trained piano player, so no surprise she sounds wonderful playing as always..

I'm sure some people probably did he was an ass at times, but from everything I have heard and read, to say that "most" people would say that, is a gross overstatement and most certainly not in the holiday spirit one would expect this time of year.
