When using their american bypass tool on my 1100 cutaway, I'll hit the back of the lock and start turning and the acctuator will begin to turn then start to feel like my tools going to break and won't turn anymore, is there something I'm doing wrong?

The shape is wrong. I had to Dremel mine down for it to fit into the back of American lock properly. Don't force it, you'll only break your tool.
