Hi Friends, Happy Monday!
Today I wanted to talk about lame ol Barbara and what an awful person she was. I mean, I feel bad for her because she seemed to have a rough life, but damn, did she really need to ruin everyone elses? RIP to poor Tony, yes he made some bad choices but he did not deserve the treatment he received from his family and most of all his own MOTHER.
OH! Also in the beginning I mentioned how I dont like the “this was boring” comments. I hope how I explained it, came out right. Im not responding to “haters” I just feel like, it needed to be said because I think we are so desensitized to these stories, honestly. Not just because of me but because of everything we see every day, media, movies, etc. I understand a story can be “boring” but, I just wanted to put out a little reminder to step back and think about it before you comment it. You never know who is watching/reading/seeing it. I know people wont give a damn and still do it anyways, I mean this is the internet, cmon. So, I will make sure to just block people who disrespect. I just want this to be a safe space and while I have some kind of control, I will keep it that way.
But I am always all ears to constructive criticism and hearing feedback stuff like that! I am always trying to be better. ANYWAYSSS.. love and appreciate you guys a ton and I hope to be seeing you very soon

Actions were only condemned if they were known, and most people didn't want to know. They just looked the other way.
You got to understand at the time most men die really young like in their 20s and women do live longer but giving birth was way harder and kills alot of women so women would get married really young to increase her chances of living through giving birth. So it was accepted to marry 14 and 15 years old girls because once a women was 20 years old she had very high chance of dying while giving birth

I had to stop 2.5 mins in just to say: When you choose to overlook the stories true crime YTers tell because you're not entertained and you complain about the story choice, you're doing a disservice to victims.
Victims don't get to choose how they die. They don't get a say in their demise. Victims shouldn't have to hope, while living their final moments, that their death will be cinematic and exciting so that they're not forgotten. Every victim's story is important, no matter how dull and lacking their stories are.
Please have some heart and consider that the friends and families of these victims read these comments and watch these videos. I cannot imagine what reading comments saying my loved one's death was boring would do to me emotionally and mentally. Man.

Me and my baby daughter have been hooked on your videos for awhile now. We were at the hospital for hours tonight because my husband got sick and girl...you got me through it. My daughter was getting into everything since ya know hospitals aren't baby friendly. Once I put on a Bailey video we were all chuckling. So I know this video is super old by now but I rewatch cuz I'm autistic and 'visiting people I like' is comforting. Even if it's these stories. It's more you Bailey that I'm here for. I like the company of a familiar voice. Especially as I'm a crafter it's really nice to have something engaging my mind and it's really hard to constantly find that kind of content that fits what I need. ANYWAY, I wanted to say that I am always impressed by all your videos. You're beautiful and you really do your research and really invest in the stories. Adolescence wasn’t even defined until the early 1900s and studied at an in-depth level around 1950s-1980s. Until then, once a child hits 13-yr-old, that person is perceived to be an adult and treated accordingly. So, since the girl was 15 when she was with Brooks, she was considered an adult at the time. But I get what you mean.

Hopefully this isn't the main venue for bailey's research on cases but, even if, she's got more to her that'll keep me coming back.

People need to understand that True Crime isnt just entertainment. Its also about bringing awareness to these cases and REAL victims. Its sick that anyone would say a case isnt “interesting enough”

People need to understand that virtually everyone that watches these will forget the details and that it ever happened within a day or two.
If you can retain someone's interest, you can help them stay focused on the case instead of forgetting about it when the next video starts. Unfortunately we aren't all detectives so there is an interest aspect to these type of videos.

I love the way you tell these events, and the fact that you are fairly informed on the content and times. I enjoy your videos specifically because you do it based on personal interest. It feels like a conversation with a friend while you get ready for something. Which feels a little strange based on the content but a close friend of mine is really drawn to stories like these and before she moved away would tell me stories like this on the regular. So you also give me like history class vibes with a hint of friend dish nostalgia.
I love all of the stories mostly because I can tell that you have put a TON of time into researching and the thoughtlessness of your words when you're telling the stories. Greatly appreciated. You and Christina Randall are my favorites.

I love how she does pay attention to get feed back but stands firm in speaking in for these victims ect. These are PEOPLE. That had lives and families ect...Their lives were not for our entertainment and we don't get to criticize how exciting their story is. Listen or don't.

True but their lives became our entertainment in this context. As a CZcams video every subject is kind of made to be "for us". Their lives were not boring but the people commenting about it probably meant to say that it is boring to them subjectively.
