Today, i will show you some loadouts, weapons, accessories, armor to help you for your next melee playthrough for Calamity 2.0.3.006, which is the last version of the Calamity mod!

Hey, I just want to let everyone know, Yharim's Insignia was just reworked today into Ascendant Insignia, Which no longer gives ANY melee buffs and instead now gives a: 30% increased flight time, 10% increase to movement and jump speed, and multiplies movement acceleration by 1.1x. Ascendant Insignia also has the ability to give you infinite flight time for 4 seconds with a cooldown of 40 seconds. I just saw calamity update and saw these changes and decided to let some of yall know because idk if this accessory is the best for melee anymore. Anyways, have a great day and play some Terraria!

@bromex_ Thanks, if you do want to do it someday, though, I'd recommend having plenty of patience. It sounds difficult, it is difficult, and nobody is going to beat it in just a couple hours.

Also, i like how you changed the shield count from just text to a picture, looks cleaner. Personally I used mostly the zenith to beat scal, the damage isn’t too high but the range makes up for it, also will use it for exo mechs fight.
Exo mechs easy af tho, u can beat them eyes closed (so long as u remember the patters in which they attack)

BTW, you can use the right click on Exo Blade which will make you dash to an enemy and cause greats amount of damage, you can also left click right after the dash to do even more damage, sadly brome didn't include that in the video.

Finally
Calamity Class Setups Guide 3.0
The guide works even if you don't listen to the accessories part you only need the armored and wepons
to do skeltron you can make skyline wings wich are super useful instead of bundle of baloons, and you can already make the Terraspark boots. With the unlock of reforge you can easily keep the Bladecrest Oathsword who is a prett good weapon and the first homing projectiles type.
Eheh, il just get calamity overhaul, and find murasama there :)
Still, a very useful guide for me as a calamity beginner, i need to know what the armor is, or what accessories i need, very useful for me as a melee main! I will try to learn the other classes here on brome's channel, very good guide. Actually the best youtuber that i know for guide in terraria and calamity, il also try thorium soon. Keep on making guides like this! I also keep on going back to this video, everyday for my calamity progression. With this guide i can also, teach my brothers with this!

what visual mod are you using for those character movements? i love it i might wanna use it. the graphical change is amazing too
on the pre last mech stage i would highly recommend darklight greatsword instead of sulphuric grabber. Good damage, range and speed, pretty perfect for skeletron prime or twins

also, asgard's valor is obtainable just post-plantera, and it's just better than the evasion scarf.
you also can get ornate shield on pre-third mech boss which on my opinion is better for dodging, that's why you get dash accesories firstly.

I don't know if many people know, but it is possible to obtain titanium at the beginning of hardmode, it can come in titanium crates by fishing

id recommend tainted blade and its upgrades through prov, it isnt part of exo blade or anything they are just really good and relatively cheap.
what should i use as a replacement for yharim's insignia? and is murasama still viable just after dog
for pre Scal, i would like to advice you to use Nadir because the damage it deals is 27k-32k consistently and with homing projectile

for pre golem do you really need evasion scarf if you already have the dash from the asgard's valor
Doing a melee play through rn, I added fargos, remnants, and a couple other content mods but I think I’m still gonna stick with calamity weapons 😂😂😂
pre-perforator accessories like bundle of balloons should be placed on pre-skeletron. After all killing the perforator unlocks the aeralite ores. Which is used to craft the bundle of ballons.

Fun fact, The best armor for pre boss is molten armor since you can go to the ocean and fish for the reaver shark which is as good as molten pickaxe and allows you to get molten armor super early.
unfortunately that only works in version 1.3

just a tip guys if once you get the broken biome edge you can beat almost all pre-hardmode bosses in seconds if you are using the arid grandeur attunement
edit: i have also learned that the avalanche decimates both the aquatic scourge and your framerate

i feel like some yoyos need a shout out lke the star fury looking for in pre HM or some more range against bosses like Slime god where you kinda need to keep distance

for the pre first mech part evasion scarf is unobtainable becasue u actually have to kill a mech to get mythril anvil to use the scarf but that setting can be turned off anyway

You can use this one! There’s only a couple of infernum exclusive weapons
i just say "fuck it!" and proceed to play murasama the whole game until the few last bosses
