    FYI...You can hold down pad select in the step sequencer and change pads without going back to the main page. Good content Poli!

    That waS Excellent, exactly what i wanted to know, im a songwritter who works primarily in audio, i like to play my synths and guitar and voice but i love the mpc workflow.... and the standaloneness... this is great.

    Omg thank you. I'd given up on my MPC because I couldn't work out how to sequence different audio tracks across sequences. Turning one off and turning another on. It was too tedious to assign to a pad instead. Clear regions is very Counter intuitive. Thanks a lot!!!

      Oh and I watched the rest and saw you're effectively doing that but but I'm happy just being able to work with 8 audio tracks to sketch out ideas then move to PC. Great work and thanks for sharing 2 years ago! I couldn't find anything back 3 years ago when I gave up. Cheers!

    12:51 You can change the pads while inside the step sequencer by clicking the large button at the bottom of the screen that says "PAD SEL".
    You were saying you have to back up to the main screen in order to change the pads because you cannot do it in the step sequencer but I'm
    just letting you know there's definitely a way to change them. Once you click the button that says "PAD SEL" you can then select any pad that
    you want to select and the MPC will change it to the pad selected. Much love though. The good thing about the MPC is the fact that there's
    typically going to be multiple ways to achieve the same goal. It's a good thing, but can also lead to frustration at times.

    Brother this was a game changer for me. I was getting frustrated not being able to mute my external synths. I really need to learn the step sequencer more as well. ✌️

    Nice, this is what I was looking for the other day. My workflow is to spend a day or so creating some wild sounds on my modular then use the MPC to make the accompanying beat, but getting the two together without using a computer was a conundrum. Thanks loads, brother.

    thanks for sharing, do the 8 audio tracks sync to the "song" or MIDI sequence within the MPC One?

    Hi very useful information. I have a question since each audio track is recorded as a sample then how many minutes can you record after ram memory in only 2 gigabytes? I saw somewhere that with the new update, the audio is streamed directly from the SSD and does not load the RAM memory. Is this true?

    @Poli Popo I'm recording my electric drum kit into the audio recorder but it doesn't loop smoothly. How do I make it sound like it loops perfectly?

    Love this but have a problem i am using reason as a sound module when i do what you do and record it to audio track then put it on a pad how can i delete part of the pad for aranging purposes i dont want to use mutes because it doesn't convert properly when using multiple sequences i just want to delete the beginning or end but having trouble because the workflow you showed the midi note starts at the beginning of the bar so if you try to delete a portion it deletes the whole thing so its not good for arranging and using mute groups doesn't work because you might want half the sample to come in in the middle of the bar have i missed something

    • @PoliPopo
      @PoliPopo  Před 9 měsíci

      I usually go to Eddd sample and then I extract pieces of samples from the main samples I’m going to sign the new ones to Pads

    @PoliPopo why do you think my audio recordings are writing OVER any previous midi or audio recordings?

    • @PoliPopo
      @PoliPopo  Před 6 měsíci

      You will have to select a new track and add a new audio program
      I think you can have up to 8 audio tracks but each has to have its own track and program

    The mpc software needs to be rethought out to be daw like, tracks better assignments of audio midi effects... This is far too convoluted
