Here’s my cozy book recommendations , since I’m equally if not more in love with books as our dearest emmie:
1-Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montogomery
2- The Sherlock Holmes Canon (the entirety of it)
3- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
4- The Secret History by Donna Tartt (a bit questionable I guess but it really is given the prose)
5- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
6- A good poirot mystery (Five Little Pigs is my most favorite of all )
the whole series of anne of green gables is such a cozy books💗
I love that Five little pigs is your favorite Poirot! Love your other recommendations too!
Anne of Green Gables is truly my favorite book for fall
Love the books you picked.😀
I could not agree more with a list! You have great taste
The aesthetics of every single one of your videos are *chef’s kiss* immaculate 🍂🍁☕️ and that mirror in the background, stunning ✨
How does Emma afford this lifestyle? She goes to college so I'm assuming she doesn't work...

Anne of Green Gables (and the whole series honestly) are super cosy and just wonderful books to read in fall. I read most of them last autumn and it was such a joyful experience, can’t recommend enough 🥰 there’s an audiobook version of it read by Rachel McAdams which is just wonderful
Emma I also just wanna say you look so beautiful in that dress . So in love with your white dress and how your cozy presence always makes my day. ❤️
Feeling emotionally worn out after a busy day and a therapy session, put this on with a cup of herbal tea and it's the ultimate healer ☕ thank you 💕💕💕

The cozy vibes radiating from your videos is truly immaculate, thank you❤️
Thank you, Emma. After recently re-reading The Bell Jar and since all my current reads are quite difficult or heavy books, I really needed to hear that this is a time to read something cozy. I very much appreciate your videos and the variety of books you're recommending.

I cannot believe it: I was just trying to decide on my TBR for the next 2-3 months and after not being able to decide on anything, your video popped up! This is just great timing!!
Its raining heavily outside here, the vibes are immaculate, I was waiting fir an autumn book recs from you!🍁
I totally needed this video. I've had a terrible last few days and your videos always cheer me up ☺️
Cozy reads for a cozy new place. Awesome as always
I don't know if it's common knowledge outside Sweden, but the author of pippi longstocking wrote several other books. All of them are lovely, hopefull and a little sad. One of them, the brothers lionheart, is a beautifull interpretation of what happens to us when we die. She wrote it for all the kids that were hospitalized with illnesses that might not go away, so that they wouldn't fear death to much. It has always been a great comfort to me, even though I don't belive in Nangliama anymore.
I look forward to Autumn so much, my birthday is near, I have an amazing tbr list for October & now book recommendations from you as well 🍂🌠💌
The Mysterious Benedict Society is so good!!! Also yes to everything you said about gifted children and now being burnt out… feel that hard lol.
I am a certified autumn lover so I needed this 🍁💕
Thank you Emma! I'd been reading so many soul shattering books so I need to feel comfy now. ♡♡♡
Oh girllll! Your voice is so much more cozy than the sum of all those books
I just really enjoy your enthusiasm for whatever you are doing. You are a young woman ahead of your time! So knowledgeable and well read! Pat yourself on the back-you rock!
Hey Emma, I was wondering if you’ve ever thought of creating a recs room inspired by other cultures? What I mean is that there are so many of us who do not celebrate Halloween or Christmas, and have our own set of holidays (for example Diwali for Hindus like me or Eid for Muslims), and it would be so great to see more booktubers incorporate these cultural differences in their recommendations. And since you’ve decided to embark on a world book tour, I thought this may be an element that would elevate that journey and help you connect better with your subscribers (like me!!) who send you all their love from all across the globe🌻
really cool idea!
I love the way you say the word “so” it’s so cute
I love Autumn too, Emma, but here in Brazil, Spring is coming! But, i love the books you picked. The Little Princess is lovely, and omg! This edition of My Neighbor Totoro is gorgeous! Have a beautiful Autumn, darling! 🌷🦋🧡🌿🕊️
I got this mystery book box I bought on Etsy in the mail today and the book I received was A Little Princess! I’m so excited to read it now!!!❤️❤️❤️ it was totally by chance but the coincidence makes me so happy
Something that helped me have the courage to talk to other people at uni is to realise that most of them probably want to talk to and meet someone as badly as I did and they were just to scared to make the first move. I just made the habit of saying hello to the person next to me and introducing myself, if the conversation stops there that’s fine, but you often end up meeting some really great people!
Thank you for the recs! The Little Princess was one of my absolute favorite movies growing up. :)
I loved that movie, too
this notification has already made my day :)
And Then There Were None is my favorite Agatha Christie novel! Also I love all of your recommendations!! 🧡
Even though where i live it's spring i can experience autumn vicariously through you and the cozy books 😂😂😂
Life among the savages by Shirley Jackson is so cosy I literally hugged the book when I finished it.
ok so i stopped the video because i need a cup of tea to watch this, then i´ll continue. but thank you for being always so warm Emma 💌
the setting! the outfit! could not be more angelic.
You uploading is the best part of my day ❤️
ahhhh all such cosy picks, i def wanna pick up a lot of these!!!!
" *Every leaf speaks bliss to me*
*Fluttering from the Autumn tree* "
-Emily Brontë 🍂
There's nothing cozier than an autumn day, and you can't change my mind. Picture this -
Pretty leaves + cool weather + not too bright sun + coffee + books + an autumn playlist from Spotify (Cherry Wine by Hozier, Ophelia by Lumineers, Work Song by Hozier, The A Team by Ed Sheeran, Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop by Landon Piggs are just some of my autumn favorites!) Or your comfort youtuber + light blankets!
Also, I don't know why, but I feel like I've always associated the dark academia aesthetic with autumn-winter. I feel like it just correctly embodies it! With this video Emma, let us finally welcome Autumn 🍁🍂 ☕ 📚
Thank you for these recommendations. It is autumn here in New Zealand and I was looking for some cozy reads.
I thought ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’ sounded amazing for both myself and my children to read.
I was inspired to go to this wonderful second hand book / coffee shop down the road.
As I walked in I noticed the spine of that book on the new arrivals shelf!
Such exciting book serendipity ❤️
I'm reading a lot more now because of you, my queen! I stan the Tiny Tomato Army!

@@illchangemyusernamewhenith9130 czcams.com/video/n5bIhglTLbk/video.html
The Thorn series by Khahani has been a cozy experience so far.
Charlotte's Web is a fave. Anne of Green Gables (only the first one)
Also the book of Ruth in the Bible.
ok but both Emmie and Corolyn posting on the same time? My day just got better.
As of right now, my favorite Agatha Christie is still the first one I ever read: Murder at the Vicarage. It was my first autumn living in a new state, so it was very atmospheric, and I was so charmed by Miss Marple. Now I love finding and collecting Agatha Christie books with bizarre covers. I don't usually LOVE the stories, but I always really enjoy them. :)
I just started reading Agatha Christie as well and I agree they are so cosy!
Also love your bed canopy!
Thank you for this video!! I was just searching for cozy books since I was in the mood for them :pp I'll watch your previous video on cozy books as well :3
for cozy-ish manga i recommend Witch Hat Atelier!! the art style is just so gorgeous
it's midnight here and I was about to go to bed then I saw this video and I just have to watch it 💛
I was also reading the Poirot series in publication order. I've been doing that for a few years, and I am finally reaching the end. It was a great ride.
I hope you enjoy it as well. I also think Agatha Christie is very cozy, something we can turn to and know we will read something interesting.
The Mysterious Benedict Society is so good! I reread it recently (I'm 25) and it did not disappoint!
omg idk if u just read my mind or it's a coincidence but I was actually finding some cozy book recos for autumn and u happened to upload just by now!!! my tbr can't wait!
She's so comforting ❤️
your voice is so soothing to listen to
Op aesthetics of each and every video you make ! Keep making such interesting videos .
I think that one of the coziest books is The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, I always go back and read that when I feel down
I feel you on the 'gifted child' thing, I was one and now I'm a burnt out young adult 😅 great recommendations as usual!
Your voice is calming. 😌
Emma, thank you so much for introducing my to Anne of Green Gables, definitely one of my favorite reads this year! Have you read the other books in the series?
Yay! Coziness!🧡
I think I found my new favorite CZcams channel
I loved "The Secret Benedict Society" so much as a child. The new series on Disney+ is such a good adaption imho. Very cozy and cute. It's for kids but so fun for adults as well.
Oh dear Sarah Hodgson Burnett 😂 I loved loved loved the book only because you read it first and recommended it💘
One of my favorite cozy reads is Jane Eyre. One of my all time fave books!
I am a huuuge Agatha Christie Fan. Started participating in the Read Christie Challenge this year and have been hooked ever since. I still need to read a lot more of her works and want to go through all of her novels at some point. Until now my favourites are definitely Murder is Easy and Nemesis. Once the story/tragedy unfolded, I was not able to put the books down again.
Was able to listen to The Little Princess and enjoyed as well.
Magpie murders is my Cozy murder mystery Rec ! One of my fav genres for books and tv / movies.. the brits do it best !
All hail our queen of coziness 😌👸 I really hope the return to classes is being nice to you and you're not having too much of a hard time 💜 it can be a bit overwhelming. I have a feeling that if we had class together I'd silently gaze at you and totally want to befriend you, but alas shyness would get in my way. Glad I get to meet you here at least and we can be introverts together! 😊
Sad Cypress is a brilliant Christie just made for autumn
Hello Emma, the autumn queen 🍁🍂 Also rainy season here together with the arrival of my Dracula book. I guess I have something cozy to read in the middle of rainy night.
Such a cozy and beautiful video 💜 my favourite Agatha Christie book is murder on the oriantel express, and "and then there were none"
Emma, your video is COSY!!! ✨💛🌸
The Little Princess is definitely a cosy book. I also think 'Anne of Green Gables' can be considered as a cosy book!🥺💛
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd is definitely a good book.
I think The Witch's Heart would make a great autumnal read. It's the story of Angrboda, a figure from Norse mythology, and is surprisingly cozy in places. Also autumn is basically Sherlock Holmes season to me hahaha.
The Mysterious Benedict Society is so good! I just watched the new Disney+ series and really need to reread it!
i love your recs videos! i gotta read both blood meridian and beloved in the same class next term, pray for me 😭🙏🏻 i swear, eventually i will get around to these beautiful books!
I want to try If We Were Villains, looking forward to your Halloween recs!
not me loosing my mind over the greek columns mirror in the back ... 👀
My favorite Agatha Christie is "Murder on the Nile"
Read it in early highschool and I'd love to reread it soon if I get time.
you're my comfort character u know
One of the most cozy books that ive ever read is Habibi by Naomi Shihab Nye, i listened to it on audiobook it two years ago and i still remember it. Hopefully you can find it, its not super popular but its soooooo underrated. The writing is beautiful (the author is a poet) and the romance is very sweet but thats not what the story really centers around.
Edit: I had to search but i found it on hoopla as an audiobook and I’m so happy!
I love Totoro .. I have a lot of totoro stuffed toys. i'm collecting ghibli toys . I have Jiji the cat too. :)
you inspire me to read more fasho
loving the background so much... you look like a fairy
The atmosphere of the video is incredibly cozy! Your dress is gorgeous!
I’ve been wandering for a while what the watch you’re wearing ? If it’s not a secret answer, please.
And thanks for books recommendation. They’re really great!
Ooh, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd is my favorite Agatha Christie I've read so far, I hope you enjoy it!
