    This just made up my mind for my next vehicle. I drive a 2018 Terrain right now that I love dearly, but this has that same feel with space to fit my third baby (coming in February)!🎉🎉🎉

      Congratulation. In my case I am down one kiddo so I will go down in side from the Yukon Denali. This is a nice alternative but will stay w the Denali brand.

      I am North of the burg, and very interested in test driving this, had planned on Yukon, but like the size of this better. Do you have any idea when you will be getting these at your dealership? I am a little concerned about the 4 cylinder, I watched a video on the Chevy Traverse 2024 model and it was loud accelerating. I spoke to a salesman at Riverview Auto in North Huntington, they have a Denali I am interested in, they expect it anywhere from end of May to beginning of July.

    I *hate* it when manufacturers limit which trim line you can get based on captain’s chairs or not. I am always going to want max seating (bench seats) and I don’t feel like I should be penalized for that by prohibiting me from getting the features I want/need. Shame on you, GMC.

    Look at The Car Mom getting the first look at this stunner! Congratulations and so so so happy to see GM adding that middle head rest. I really love the extra cubby under the console. I couldn’t tell if the climate control was buttons and knobs or was it integrated in the screen?

    Love the Acadia! I was set to buy a Palisade but I think you’ve convinced me to go for the Acadia instead ! ( former Acadia owner here and currently own a Hylander which is NOT my favorite at all). I can do without the back sunshades as long as there are air vents ..I also
    Like the cup holders and new cubby!

    Thank you so much for the review. Beautiful vehicle! I saw the announcement but your video is the first video I've seen of it actually being reviewed interior and exterior - thank you so so much! Love the review. I do have a question because I've seen your review of this now and the review of the traverse... with that being said... since I don't see specific dimensions released yet, do you think there is more room in the 2024 Acadia or the 2024 Traverse? I'm leaning towards the Traverse (style, infotainment screen, size??, etc) but I thought I'd ask your opinion. Also, is there ambient lighting in the 2024 Traverse? I couldn't find anything on it. Thanks in advance. And any other thoughts on the two comparisons would also be greatly appreciated!
    Love your reviews! Thank you!

    Car Mom I think you do a fantastic job reviewing vehicles! I think the Traverse and Acadia are almost homeruns. My only gripe is why no hybrid powertrains for this or any GM vehicles ? Its offered by the competition. I can't wait until the new ICE powered Equinox and Terrain are introduced.

  • @gransport4246
    @gransport4246 Před 10 měsíci +4

    Much improved. Never understood why they downsized it for gen2 when the Traverse and Enclave remained the same size. The Acadia looks around 96-97 cu ft which puts it back inline with the Traverse, Enclave, Atlas, and Grand Highlander. Everything else is 10 cu ft smaller. One downside is that the rear 3rd row bench looks low for taller people and it also looks like those windows are tiny unlike the Atlas and Grand Highlander.

    • @normanli7085
      @normanli7085 Před 9 měsíci

      Yeah those windows are small, but they look a lot like that from the telluride and atlas, but maybe shrunk down slightly for the styling purpose

  • @Jose_cab
    @Jose_cab Před 10 měsíci +1

    The thing about these is they can make them “bigger” but they just don’t know how to optimize the space inside for leg room all the way to 3rd row. That’s why palisade and telluride are better about interior space. I’ve seen someone about my height (5’8-5’9) make a video on this and he didn’t even have 2nd row all the way back and he fit in the 3rd row but barely had enough space and I have a palisade and I can put the 2nd row all the way back and I still have a good amount of room to move my legs freely.

    As a former GMC owner I would consider the 2025 GMC Acadia if GM would offer a second row bench seat and eliminate the second row small vent windows for security purposes and add second row Sun shades. This would be a fantastic vehicle for owners with children or grandchildren. Good Job GM Engineers. What about a 2.7 or 3.0 liter engine?

    I guess I'm one of the few who wants and actual mid-size SUV. I have a 2020 Acadia Denali and love how it looks. It's the perfect size, just needed an interior refresh. I love the interior updates in this, but hate that they made it larger and more bloated-looking. Kinda looks like a honda pilot now. I guess my next vehicle will be the Acura MDX, cause it's definitely not going to be this new Acadia.

    I wasn't expecting much from this but all I can say is, "Wow!" 4-way lumbar on driver & passenger seats? That's a biggy for me. But too bad about the bench seat only on the lowest trim. Bah humbug. The Pilot still remains the only one in this larger size (not as large as this) that gives me the ability to seat 3 across in the 2nd row in the top trim. Please please please beg GM to give me my bench seat!!! So sad. Next, let's see about pricing - will this be Lexus TX money? Or Grand Highlander money? Maybe somewhere in the middle. (I take it no one from GM would talk price?)

    Very glad the went bigger, wife currently owns a 2nd gen Acadia…yea smaller…very fast not sure how the 4cy twin turbo will be….either way Bidenomics forces me and probably A LOT of people that are trying to keep food ($300 min per week) on the table with everything else….to not afford this vehicle…I would have to say your pushing $60,000 for a mid size SUV… absolutely INSANE!!
