- Throughout the history of the British monarchy, indiscretions and hastily covered up naughtiness have blighted the ruling families. Lust and power are two words almost inseparable. Henry VIII started the Church of England because he'd had enough of his wife. King Edward VIII abdicated for the woman he loved. Prince Charles married - but not the woman he loved. Sarah Ferguson enjoyed having her toes sucked by her financial adviser.
Then there's the late Diana. This video takes a look at the goings-on of the family, and how certain areas of the press have lived off them - especially in the last 15 years.

Perhaps deliberately, the title of this film echoes the title of Edgar Allan Poe's famous tale "The Fall of the House of Usher." I hope the developments in the House of Windsor saga are happier than the occurrences in Poe's story!

Royal family, Queen and fairytale monarchy ended for me the day Diana died.
Diana was a very immature, young woman who had many mental problems. Read up on the, Spencer’s. H, most likely is a result of the flawed, Spencer’s as well. Diana fed off the Charities, She was supposed to help. Diana was needy to the point of never being satisfied.

As, Prince of Wales, Charles has done much good. He’s made real improvements in housing & this takes years to plan & build. He greatly cares for the people, he’s not a Politician, He’s a hardworking Royal.

Diana had beauty but minimum brain power. She only passed two GCE O'leves,both at C grade; and she passed then on the 2nd attempt. After high school, she attended Finishing School in Switzerland, which was not about academics, but learning upper class social graces and nuances. Despite her unassuming, but inviting persona, she was very devious and knew how to get media and paparazzi attention, mainly to outshine her husband.
She had extramarital affairs, one of which caused many to question Prince Harry's paternity.
Post divorce, she decided that to permanently rid herself of all things royal, she fell in love with two muslims - the Pakistani heart surgeon, who she wanted to marry. However, during a visit to Pakistan to meet his parents, she realized that she could not be a suitable muslim wife.
Then came along another muslim, Dodey Fahad, and the result of that caused her coffin to be resting in sweet repose on The Althrop estate.
I often wonder if her millions of worshipers ever asked themselves the following question:
Was Diana really thinking about her sons (one a future King) while she was enjoying her dalliances with her muslim lovers?
