Na it's still a garbage move. They could fix it up by adjusting what it catches and making it's recovery quicker. My question is what happens when boxer types like Ed and Balrog come in? Will this move be useless against a person who doesn't kick?
It is the worst move in the game, actually Gief has 3 worst moves in the game, but it's fun to use. It just won't work, it only parries legs that hit above his waist, lower hitting highs cannot be parried, those are usually standing light kicks.

@@The_Alpha_and_The_Omega_ OR, now here me out, imagine if you could hold the button down like when you do a body slam with an elbow drop. Except instead of slamming them to the ground for extra damage, you can sled them into the corner. I could go for that.
