there is a long period in which the peafowl could hatch and raise peachicks... I hope No varmint catches them as I think you are probably correct that she has a nest of eggs hidden somewhere in the weeds or brush. Rick in Pa. YES a lovely place for a house as well

It’s a buildup of calcium or phosphorus and typically is caused by too much grain vs roughage…. Or not enough water intake. They have e plenty of grazing and hay available, along with their grain… and always all the water they want, so we’re not sure.
Ms Brooke & Mr Jason had an argument so she scaddled to have some she time in peace 😅
Can you set up some trail cameras to help you find her?
Peacocks go off to lay so maybe ms Brooke has but keep eye as something might get her like they did with ms O at cog hill

Dutch lost 2 pea hens in the past as well.
