Just got my brand new hayate otsu xsoft a few days ago and it’s been great, I think your video on it helped me choose between soft and xsoft, so thanks for that! Really can’t complain with it so far. It was really fast at first with core pads on my gpx, but I got used to it within a day or two. Really good overall mousepad, good speed and control, smooth surface with a bit of texture, bit of extra stopping power if you utilise pressing down on the pad with either your mouse or your fingers, etc. I have not used it for too long, but from my current experience of it, I do recommended it to anyone who is interested.
Was using a GPX + Corepad CTRL on a GSR 2, now using a DaV3 Pro (Corepad CTRL shipped) on Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft. This combo has been phenomenal so far!

Hi, I am finding a mousepad between tang dao (or any zero clone) and quaoar perseus premium(if u have tried) in term of speed/static friction. Do u have any recommendations except the Saturn Pro?

LAMZU Energon Pro seems like a great pad that released in 23.

Hey haus, could you briefly sum up which characteristics in geveral make a good tracking mousepad vs tac fps pad? Regarding surface, thickness etc.
Unless you want to really get into details, it's mainly the speed and stopping power. Tac FPS you want a pad that will allow you to stop very accurately, and tracking games are the literal opposite, you want to be able to smoothly move your mouse and change directions
Hey, which mousepad would you recommend for the outset ax wireless and mainly valorant (with some other, more tracking heavy games on the side)? Originally I wanted to get the em-c but I'm not sure if it would be too slow due to the outset ax being a bit more on the heavy side. I really enjoyed it on the original (non-pro) saturn so far.
On another note: would you still recommend the outset ax wireless? I know the weight is a bit on the heavier site but love the shape and clicks compared to other ergos I tried.

the GSR 2 has the same problem like the 1 for me. after a time it slows and microadjustment is verry hard from topfragger to bottomfragger

I need some advice, the game i play is CS and i have 7k hours. Throughout playing over the years i have played the GSRSE and the Vaxee PA. Since the yen is quite low still at the moment i want to buy a artisan mousepad. What pad would compare to a new Vaxee PA/GSRSE? I was torn between the zero or hien in either mid or soft. Or is there another pad you would recommend instead?

Kinda hate that all of the top pads you listed here are currently out of stock everywhere :D (Except the G-SR II, which Is the only one I don't fancy because of it being only available in one color.)

Is it the G-SR-SE Rouge / Gris you are talking about? It should be a tad faster than the Radar already. Depends highly on the feet though.
oh wow I honestly feel that the radar is pretty quick compared to my gsr-se rouge, i use stock pulsar skates so maybe that has something to do with it

PB and GSR 2 are very similar, PB and PA black are extremely similar in terms of feel, it comes down to whether you want a more premium base or not imo.
Will you be doing any glass pads for the list or did none of them impress or reach S tier this year?
I mostly play tac fps atm, no benefits to using a glass pad!

Steelseries QCK is a slightly downgraded PA, still a good mousepad.
I must be cursed . I must of bought over 20 different mousepads but always go back to my worn down gsr :(
did you tried the aqua control pro? also the kuruson ninja speed is very close to an artisan raiden
Never tried the AC Pro. Kurosun Ninja offers more feedback than the Raiden, meaning you can feel the texture through the mouse feet more, which gives me better control than the Raiden does!
@@hausgaming ninja is also slightly slower then raiden. the ac pro is somewhat in the range of an hien but smoother. very interesting pad. you should try it wanna know your opinion
how does the Freefall compare to the GSR /PA in terms of speed
It feels similar when new, but as it breaks in it is quite a bit faster.

Which is better for tac fps Vaxee PB (new one) or gsr 2?
Both kinda nasty, it comes down to what you want. GSR 2 is lower profile overall, PB much higher quality with a better base.

Yes, it's 2023 pads! But still the Otsu is not a top contender for me anymore as I mainly play CS2 atm!
littlebit offtopic questsion, is there any difference at all if u use 4k dongle on 1k polling compared to normal 1k dongle? any improvements in latency/motion or whatever? in theory it should be better tech.
Rtings shows if there is a difference on their website when they review mice
they test usually 1k vs 4k basically. Havent seen any test 1k vs 1k on 4k dongle.
@@sakalito - wrong. Read their comments below each review - they mention differences between 1k and 4k dongles. Also techpowerup shows the differences in graphs
oh you are right, checked the techpowerup and there actually is benefit of using better dongle on 1k, thanks!
There is! With 4K dongle you often get lower click latency, lower motion delay and most importantly a stronger antenna, which means less issues with interference!

GSR2 is goated. I’ve owned bunch of Artisans , fast pads, hybrids Zowie’s GSR2 takes the crown in my opinion.
