He called his grandmother during the stop so she could verify he’s never smoked weed nor does he know anyone who has. You can’t make this stuff up.
He’s also a known drug dealer in the area

God, watch over every officer that risks their lives every day to keep us safe. With all of the scrutiny and hate that they face every single day, for us, they still are dedicated to keep us safe. They are human, they have emotions but they have to hide these emotions so they can do their job. It's no different than our military who go to war. Police officers are fighting the war in our country with less respect. God bless every single one of them that protect us.

They tracked his cell phone, and confirmed it was him when they saw him walk into his backyard.

In the video it was clear to me that he was hiding something. Youd think trained officers would notice that also. When Eggers backup got there he was aggressive in the video. That escalated the situation. Why didnt ge call up for more backup instead of theowing down a taser? Now, I dont condone the killing of an officer but this could have been avoided. Some times cops need to leave their aggression in the patrol unit and enter a situation with a resolve method, not a bully method as this cop did.
In hindsight a million things could be done differently but come on...all he had to do was get out of the car so they can search and according to him he had no drugs and doesnt use drugs and drugs weren't used in the vehicle so he had nothing to worry about. And instead he resisted and attempted to kill to officers and took off... and that officer had kids and grandkids... really sad
@@k.c.r.5974 he has the constitutional right to refuse to get out of the vehicle unless there is probable cause. They didn't see any drugs. They said they smelled it which is often a plot used by law enforcement to search your car. He simply told her to bring the dogs but not once did they call the dogs. Instead, they used intimidation and bullying to try to control him. Cops need to be trained better.

@@k.c.r.5974 he was swerving. She pulled him over and he complied. If he was wanting problems he could have never stopped. But, he did. The cop said she smelled weed which is a very well known tactic law enforcement use to get to search your vehicle. Cops have been known to plant drugs in cars not to mention he had a constitutional right to not agree to the search. When her backup arrived he was already being aggressive. Her demands became more forceful and her partner was aggressive. All of this because of a simple traffic stop and suspicion of weed? So, then they order him out of the car and try to pull him out. When they had a tough time getting him out they deployed electricity through his body several times. All of this for a traffic stop? The cops clearly escalated this traffic stop into a shooting. I don't condone anyone getting killed. I think in this case the male cop was highly aggressive and got exactly what was coming to him

Mentioning what bad cops have done in the past destroys you because you now have to mention what criminals have done in the past which would justify on its own everything that the police did. You can't be swerving all over the road and smelling like weed. Then you assume that the female officer is lying about the smell of weed. She was very professional and patient with him. She literally told him to step out of the car and she would look inside the car and get him on his way...and in case you're wondering why he didn't want to get out of the car.. we know for sure that he was a convicted felon and carrying a firearm and wether or not he had drugs in the car will never be known but he probably did. It's absolutely insane that even with hindsight and everything we know about this case and the footage and everything that unfolded you would still defend this criminal and killer and say "the cop got what was coming to him".
