The number one finger picking is anji of Davy Graham in my opinion,and the second one is the intro of crazy on you by Nancy Willson. Honorable mention to Nick Drake when the day is done

Hmm, I learned finger style with dust in the wind way back when. I'd probably say tears in heaven is on the easier side of it though. Chord progression maybe not so much but the finger picking i think is easier. Another couple good ones are Jewel's - You were meant for me, Fleetwood Mac's - Landslide, Elvis - Cant Help Falling in love, 3 Doors down - Here without you... most of these can use Am to C with the progressions with the odd D and G with little tweaks and such with similar easier patterns. It will also open you up to something like Classical Gas when you get more ambitious, or at least parts of it. Id say do yourself a favor and just throw Neon out the window unless your a masochist.
Great video! As a super JM nerd, two nit-picks if you want to play exactly like him:
Stop This Train is only played with thumb and index finger
On Neon you are missing the bass notes playing the open C between the bass notes that you are hitting
Great selections though I would add Going To California and Babe I’m Gonna Leave You and make it a dozen. Great playing, well done bro!

Not the finger style I was expecting, like I expected there to be say you won’t let go but also I thought the finger style would be like Kenneth Acoustic but overall good for beginners

I think there's a difference between fingerpicking and fingerstyle. This is fingerpicking, not fingerstyle.

Correction: Fingerpicking on Blackbird was not taught by Donovan to Paul. Donovan was teaching John and Paul could take learn the pattern because Paul is left-handed. The picking style is Paul McCartney’s own style used in various early Beatles songs, such as Yesterday, Mother Nature’s son, Rocky Raccoon etc.

@@bunnygirllovemsp6371 it’s so funny because this literally happened to me the day before I saw this. I just bought a new harmonica and brought it to my friend’s house to jam with him. (Between the two of us, we have a ton of instruments) so I jammed my harmonica and set it next to where I was sitting and then played his guitar. At some point I set the pick down next to me to play some finger style and when I picked up my harmonica again, the pick was completely lodged in it. We both spent about 40 minutes trying to get it out and we had no idea how it got inside because the pick was thicker than the opening it slid into. I had to take it apart to get the pick out. I just thought is was the harmonica equivalent of losing a pick in the sound hole of a guitar haha!

as good as this is it is not fingerstyle (which would include the melody ). this is fingerpicking method

@@Mawhtthere’s no difference, I think people just like to call songs that are easier fingerpicking, and more difficult songs finger style. It’s the same. Finger style literally just means to pluck the strings with your fingers
