Love this test, I use it as part of my home exercise programs all the time in its full 8 direction form, but I remember reading not too recently that the direction with the greatest predictive value for injury was only the posteromedial direction!
The Y balance test is sufficient for testing as well
Yes, sorry I mean't that based on what I read, it suggested that really, you could simplify the Y test to just the posteromedial reach of the Y only!
What does it tell you when the patient is not able to live up to the standards ? + Do you advice to use this as a measurement tool through out different interventions ?
Is "excursion" with context to a squat the eccentric phase of the movement? When the knee and hips are in a flexion position.
I have one question..
Some of the article says that we shouldn't flex the leg which is in contact with ground and some says that we should flex the leg ... So which is the correct mention
