Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

میں غامدی صاحب کے نقطہ نظر سے مکمل طور پر متفق ہوں. لیکن موجودہ دور کے مسلمانوں کا سب سے بڑا مسئلہ یہ ہے کہ انہیں بچپن سے ہی یہ سکھایا جاتا ہے کہ دین کے معاملے میں عقل استعمال نہیں کرنی بلکہ جو کچھ بتایا جائے اسے آنکھیں اور دماغ بند کر کے تسلیم کرنا ہے اور اس پر اڑ جانا ہے اور مرتے دم تک اس کا دفاع کرنا ہے اور یہی دین پر چلنے کا صحیح طریقہ ہے. نتیجہ ہمارے سامنے ہے. اندھی تقلید اور انتہا پسندی. اور یہ رویہ اتنا مضبوط اور گہرا ہو چکا ہے کہ لوگ اپنے نظریات سے ہٹ کر بات سننے کے لئے بھی تیار نہیں ہیں. میرے لئے یہ صورتحال انتہائی تکلیف دہ ہے. غامدی صاحب واقعی ایک بہت بڑا جہاد کر رہے ہیں. اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی مدد، رہنمائی اور حفاظت فرمائے. آمین

Sir, what about those who don't understand Urdu language? I think all your videos should come with English subtitles. Serious difficulties in understanding your arguments . great loss to non-urdu viewers.
Ghamidi Sb is more comfortable speaking in English but I think they are translating his work in English as well.

Ilyas sahab, ap bhi bht perfect jarahay hein, bht hi alaa qism k sawalaat behtreen timing k saat. behtreen tareeqy sy nashist ko lay k chalna. Because Mr Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is like Shoaib akhter 161 kph,he needs a equally world class wicket keeper like Moin Khan or Rashid Latif. Because with this pace Kamran Akmal cannot catch any ball, than Shoaib Akhter have to cut the pace to 145 kph, And we cannot afford any underperformance by such a huge scholar.

Chapter: To practice only a tenth of what one knows from the commandments of Allaah for salvation, and the easiness worth all of what is in the Heavens and the Earth.
Abu Dharr by authority (witnesses): The Prophet (Muhammad), Allaah Sends Peace and Blessings upon him, indeed said, “Verily, you are in a time of many scholars and few preachers. Whoever leaves a tenth of what he knows will be nullified (or destroyed). There will come to people a time of few scholars and many preachers. Whoever holds fast to a tenth of what he knows will be saved.”

And, Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allaah are upon him, said, “Verily, you are in a time in which whoever amongst you leaves off tenth of what he has been commanded will be destroyed in the Hereafter. Then there will come a time in which whoever amongst you practices a tenth of what he has been commanded will be saved.”

The above Ahaadith depict the present time. And still, there is going to be a time when only a prostration to Allaah (عز وعلا) will be worth more than the Heavens and the Earth.

Bottom line. The Quran and sunnah /ahadith are primarily wahi meaning revealed by Allah. Unlike previous revelations the Quran is the FINAL revelation. Therefore it needs to be comprehensive as a guide and miraculous in essence (mu'jiza). Thus it gives to every individual reader what he /she SEEKS from it. So when the solution to a problem is sought from it several individual "understandings" may be offered and therefrom a result obtained. Not necessarily always correct. Having said that I believe that the primary focus should be to seek GUIDANCE from Allah via Quran and sunnah /ahadith. Also we need to be constantly wary of intellectual "infiltration" from our enemies about whom the Quran warns us. We should avoid sectarianism and fanaticism. These 2 provide the easiest access to the enemy. Secularism and modernism are also sects. The yahood and nasara will never be satisfied with you until you follow their millah

Maakhz means source.. Quran is original source of all knowledge and laws. All laws are to be derived and made compatible with the fundamental principles of Quran and Sunnat/second source.

There's is perhaps no objection to subscribe to any school of thought. The real problem is that of intpreance and obsession. None claim claim that it has monoploy over truth and rest is untruth.
