Distress can be transformed into growth. Having had breast cancer, a double mastectomy, and Chron’s, music icon Anastacia knows all too well how to be resilient through health scares.
In this chat, Fearne and Anastacia discuss how mindset and perspective can make a huge difference to our reality, especially for someone like Anastacia, who says she’s both an anxious and an optimistic person.
Plus, given the voices in her head that often told her she wasn’t pretty enough, Anastacia also gives advice on how to be ok with not looking like everyone else on the internet, and how to resist the urge to always use filters when posting online.

I adored this interview. It was one of the realest and most raw sit downs I’ve seen with her since the early days. Not enough people let her discuss in depth her story which is so mesmerising from the success to the hardships. She flies under the radar so much all whilst still having one of the greatest voices our generation will see. It’s sad that she thinks her fans don’t care for new music, we do! We want her to have the same renaissance Kylie has had. She needs and deserves that hit to put her back at the top where she deserves to be. Thanks for this Fearne, luv.

I'm 51 and the last 6 years have been really tough. The emotional and physical changes that happen knock you off your feet and still are. Hrt didn't work for me and isn't always the golden ticket plus so many can't afford the monthly prescription for hrt. For those who sail through it, that's great but just try to be sympathetic to the ones who really struggle. Let's all get to the other side of menopause holding each other

I am a woman that was born intersex and my whole life I've been dealing with menopausal symptoms. This was wonderful. I'm a European but I've never been to Europe... I wish I could come home :( I care so much about our peoples, where I am it is so isolating with my values and condition not meshing for people politically. It is so cosy to watch my people chat and talk about life things I've been embarrassed about since I was a child. Sending rainbows and White-positivity 🤍
