Bolton ha una voce speciale...devo dire che in questa canzone di Percy Sledge non mi dispiace. Ma non è certo il mio cantante preferito, anche se è un buon "mestierante"

da qui si sente molto bene intanto che quella specie di voce "svociata" scusa la ripetizione, ce l'ha di suo già mentre parla, somiglia proprio a come quando vai allo stadio e urli tutto il tempo e dopo sei svociato, voce meno "piena", un po' ariosa. poi un passaggio di registro per niente basso. E sicuramente questo lo aiuta in tutte le fasi della canzone dove sale, perchè lo fa con una naturalezza impressionante.
nel finale batte più volte su quel Re5 che riesce a graffiare anche in M2 mix, diventa quasi una distorsione.
Veramente una voce unica.

Interessante!! Anche guardando vecchie interviste ha sempre la stessa voce ariosa e ovattata, a me sembra dovuta a un sulcus, però non si trovano in rete informazioni a riguardo..ad ogni modo spiegherebbe il timbro molto particolare e la facilità di andare in acuto! Chissà! Ad ogni modo è un mostro!! Peccato abbia perso un po' con l'età ma d'altra parte l'invecchiamento fisiologico della voce è normale..
