jason mattison go for it mate. I had the same setup as yours before hand. found it a lot more droney around 2k revs. but now sounds so much better. also had a lot of positive comments from recent shows wich is always a good thing 👍
jason mattison find it a lot less droney tbh mate. especially in 4th plus gear cruising. 1st & 2nd is a different story. pops and crackles constantly once everything is warmed up aswell....the most noticeable difference is that the car revs a lot quicker
What else did you do to your car because I have a 2012 regal GS and I'm looking to do a conversion already found the engine turbo and transmission I'm just looking for other parts

Bloody hell, I have always said a v6 sounds terrible with a sports exhaust. I dont understand how everyone thinks this sounds cool haha. Close your eyes while the video is playing and imagine a tractor/truck revving with a hole in one of the mufflers and this sound fits perfectly with that. You can also hear the drone from the exhaust while revving it. I can only imagine how much it drones cruising along the hwy. Im guessing your from the UK or something looking at the number plate style. Im from Australia and if anyone over here put a straight pipe system on a v6 Holden commodore they would be laughed back to the exhaust shop. Want something that deserves a straight pipe get a V8 once you hear that you will never want to straight pipe a v6 again haha. But if you plan on keeping this car at least adding some hot-dog resonators to the rear of the exhaust and re adding the cats will at least remove a good amount of the droning and the hot dogs will give you a much nicer sounding raspy crackle on down shifts. Imho it sounds terrible the way it is because its way too loud and doesn't have any type of baffling to create the deep solid sound most other aftermarket exhausts make.
Sounds insane,I'm getting one now😁
The police are gonna love it
Absolutely fantastic mate
Wow sounds like an old school 90-deg V6 with 3 carburetors!

In this video are the cats still on the car or off? Sounds great! ;)
VXRV6V8 all cats removed mate. slightly loud on cold start...well really loud. cat delete didn't make much difference though tbh

And your just a prick
You clearly know nothing about your cars. Next time you close your eyes you should probably stay that way
Never heard so much shit in such a long paragraph
