I’m an advocate for domestic abuse survivors. I am so disgusted that Amber Heard is taking advantage of the system and credibility of real victims. When I look at her, I throw-up a little in my mouth. Amber is an embarrassment & disgrace to real survivors of abuse. It is hard enough to get victims to testify against their abuser due to lack of confidence & fear of retaliation. Amber has set-back a movement with her lies & false allegations to benefit her own selfish needs. Shame on you!

A rumor is just that. She took that narrative to excuse her own physical abuse towards her husband based on her psychotic mind that Johnny actually pushed Kate down the stairs without evidence or proof of the “rumor”. Amber knew this rumor and fed off of it to justify her abuse.

From Amber's testimony I believe that she has never been a SA victim. SA would have caused the usual tears, bruises and pain to be even worse if a glass bottle was used.
Amber lied.
She would have had trouble moving around. Her tapes did not indicate that she was in pain physically.
In that same recording she lists 5 drugs that she took when asked by the "help ".
She is guilty.
Your lived experience isn't the universal experience for every SA victim. Whether or not you believe Amber, just be mindful of comparison because it veers on the side of being like "if their experience wasn't as traumatic or caused pain like mine, then it's not legitimate". This is coming from someone else with PTSD! Let's not gatekeep and make assumptions based on our own cases, it does nothing to help progress conversations about SA and subsequent PTSD.

It's confounding how bad some of these attorneys are terrible at reading the room. How eager some of them are to be the villain no one likes. Particularly in how AH's side handled cross today. Camille's interrupting Amber worked because it was already evident to those watching that AH speaks quickly - and we've already heard records of her doing that exact same thing to Depp, and this was further confirmed by their couples therapist. So Camille ends up looking like the side of good when interrupting her because, if anything, that's read to be a situation of AH getting a taste of her own medicine and her reactions showing she's unable to take the sort of treatment she dishes out.
Railroading Depp, on the other hand, AFTER the jury's already heard from the therapist that he, in general, genuinely does need adequate time to form his thoughts and speak, and can have trouble keeping up with rapid fire discussions, makes you appear to be a reprobate getting off on being cruel. It makes you sound as abusive as your client did in the clips she, herself, recorded. If you want to tie him into knots and prove him to be untrustworthy, do so, but do so with the skill, proper pacing, tact and technique required to match the situation AND the person being spoken to.
A more capable attorney is a must for these situations, and sadly, both sides suffer from this in some way. It's a shame. They did a great job today in what they covered and the witnesses offered, though. The one who used to work for TMZ was amazing, as were the experts.

There was two accidents. The one at the airport was witnessed by airport worker and the other was witnessed by a police officer on another occasion in which there was a report made. If I remember correctly

I mean Johnny surely assaulted Amber - where the hell did the bruising and split lip come from otherwise? The physician who testified that Johnny’s finger more likely got cut off by getting trapped in a concertina door than by a vodka bottle being thrown at it by Amber?-that sounds true given the shape of the wound. Amber assaulted Johnny too though, on the stairs definitely. And she mocked him. In the recordings. That was quite nasty. It’s good to remember that victims get angry too, they can and do fight back. They’re not always passive. I’m just not sure who was the “abuser” and who was the “victim”. They should both be able to write about suffering abuse, if they want to. I think they both did suffer it at some point. Their own actions messed up their careers at the end of the day, the resultant headlines and articles and trials obviously set fire to the whole thing and ruined them both. They should have spent the £millions trial money on intensive counselling and found a resolution that way. Silly buggers. What a pointless self indulgent pantomime.
I also note that Johnny sent some absolutely vile texts, the contents of which no decent man I know would send or say, maybe even think. Very misogynistic. Hard to see and hear. Bad move. I think they’re both basically finished.
And one last thing: that Waldman character appears truly scurrilous, his actions were totally unnecessary and Amber deserves recompense for that.
I suppose something I am struggling with the sheer volume of abuse AH is indicating and she didn't end up with more severe injuries. I think that her bruises are indicative of someone hysterical who lashes out at their partner and is restrained or forcibly pushed away etc. I'm prepared to eat my words, but it's worth pondering on how all of her injuries are so minor but come from seemingly very high abuse incidents
I know everyone bruises differently etc and she had make up etc but the law of averages dictate that one of these episodes of abuse would have required her to cancel an event, she wouldn't be able go hide a very swollen eye socket, blue bruising and blood shot eye etc.
I wouldnt wish these types of injuries on anyone but the fact she can't provide evidence of severe injuries that conclusively show an abusive, drunken and drug fuelled attack is a bit suspect to me.

Although watching more of the case, I don’t think Amber did the op-ed to defame Johnny, but to help her career and profile and to position herself as a voice. I also think she really was assaulted by him. But potentially much much much less grievously than she described in court. If the jury believes something similar, I think Johnny’s claim fails?

That digital picture expert guy is so full of it. He says there's no way to authenticate the photos (lacking the originals) so he can't say who might have "modified" it. Yet he's here giving testimony about photographs he has never seen. Crazy! It's obvious Amber or someone else merely downloaded the photos off the phone and viewed it on a desktop application. This act changed the metadata of the COPY. And the COPY is all they have; and it's enough in my opinion.

Amber will win this because all the Jury has to find is he hit her just one time and it's game over. The defense has already proven Johnny has the character, demeanor and personality to do it. And Amber's direct testimony of being hit closes the deal. All this talk and testimony about her hitting him, her sleeping with James Franco, her throwing stuff - even if all that's true is irrelevant in a defamation case. And the jury will receive instructions to that end.
Johnny may have Won in the public eye - and I suppose that's a serious victory in and of itself -but he will be out $50M dollar. But hey, his career will be back in full swing and will take off.
