  • Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial: Amber Heard diagnosed with borderline personality disorder by clinical psychologist. A clinical psychologist hired to review Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's relationship has claimed that the actress suffers from two personality disorders - and pointed out that symptoms of the disorders include 'taking on the personality' of loved ones and 'dressing like them' - days after Heard was accused of copying her ex-husband's courtroom outfits. Exes Heard, 35, and Depp, 58 - who tied the knot in 2015, and were married for one year before Heard filed for divorce in 2016 - have been battling it out in court in recent weeks.

Maybe she poisoned them with a hallucinogen or disociative drug and that's how she made Amber heard say what she wanted.... Pure logic, her husband is a drug dealer so she made him pick them up so he can lace them as she ran late probably due to a night of hard partying with her husband and his drugs.... Simply, really simple and logical.

I am a clinical psychologist and professor as well as a researcher and practitioner. I began my adult life as a virtual orphan...I had to quit highschool my junior year to support myself..as a receptionist clerk in a law office. Here is how I became a licensed clinical psychologist: first I attended community college, a low cost option while I worked there as a student assistant for a dean there between my classes. Then I transferred with an associate degree to a four year college for my last two years of my bachelors degrees with honors in psychology and English literature.I went to a private university, the fifth ranked in the USA.I worked there also, first as a secretary, then a lecturer, research assistant and assistant professor teaching undergraduate and graduate students. I also developed and taught graduate courses.
I received my PhD then was assistant director of a state agency and became a professor , researcher, practitioner with a private practice and eventually a college and university administrator.
If I can do it, you can do it. What I had to do was be willing to live a very simple life to afford to get that much education. And I had to forgo a social life all my eight years of higher education. My nose was in the books.I knew I could get later to building a satisfying personal life and a family. But I had to wait to do that. It was WORTH it! I have had a satisfying intellectual life and a great personal life. I met a highly intelligent man and we have been very happy. Because he too was successful, we were able to retire early at 50 and 55 and have the FUN I went without in my 20s...we sailed ona 45ft sailboat in the CAribbean...great fun, we both grew up sailing. We traveled to to Europe bought and renovated a beautiful tropical home where we now live. I've had an idyllic life. It took sacrifice early on but I had the satisfaction of helping private clients, teaching, publishing research amd knowing I made a contribution to my field of study.
If you cannot study formally right now, here are some YT series you CAN watch many are the equivalent and actual subject matter of very fine university courses in psychology: first Robert Sapolsky's personality series at Stanford University, then Jordan Petersons several series on personality, then evolutionary psychology YT videos by David Busse at the University of Texas.
Go to my YT name and see my saved videos under psychology for a wide variety of YT videos on psychology.
Currently I am reviewing the most recent litererature on human sexuality. I had grad courses in it, but there has been a huge expansion in the field since then. The majority of my training was in clinical psychology,eg an entire course ln the adminostration and interpretation of the MMPI the test she discusses here, the diagnosis and treatment of serious mental conditions and illnesses like BPD as well as the study and measurement of intelligence.I did a years internship in a state mental hospital before being licensed.
Wishing you a long and happy life exploring the wonderful field of psychology.

I had a friend who had borderline personality disorder, and the way doctor Curry describes the behaviour of people with that disorder lines up a lot with how this former friend treated me. They even dropped me completely as a friend and blocked me on every platform when I said to them “I’m thinking of creating some distance or space between us because I’m finding things difficult”. He responded with “oh I guess we’re not friends anymore. I should have known. You could have told me this earlier”. And I said “I don’t mean not be friends I mean take a bit of a break so I can have a bit of space”. He’s all like “oh I understand. Looks like we’re not friends”. Me… uhh…. whut. Him… blocks me on everything.
I never even said I didn’t want to be his friend, I just wanted space. Years of me supporting him, trying to help him. Him telling me he’s going to hurt himself and me trying to convince him to not hurt himself, and then be told there’s nothing I can do… giving me the burden of thinking if he dies it will be my fault for not being able to help him and being the only one knowing he’s intending to do this. Years of being the only person standing up for him, letting him confide in me about all his problems and walking on eggshells to not bother him through my reactions.
Then he just drops me completely when I express something I need. That seems like the way people with BPD can act. It sucks they have this disorder and I can sympathise with that. But it’s also hard for people who are trying to help or appease them to feel constantly used, walked all over and eventually demonised and finally discarded as a “bad” person. I only ever tried to support this guy and he just treated me like garbage.
It makes me sad that to this day he still refuses to talk to me and acts like I’m dead, just for expressing the need for some breathing room. Folks with BPD often CANNOT tolerate the other person in the relationship having any needs. AT ALL. It’s totally unacceptable to them.
(Note: don’t wish to demonise people with BPD, so added some qualifiers like “can” act this way, and “often” do. I’m sure there’s people with BPD out there who are working on their condition and are mindful of their behavioural tendencies. As a person with sometimes severe depression I can relate to mental struggles. It’s just hard when those mental struggles can lead to the abuse of others)

As a 62 yr old with BPD for most of my life I’ve learned many things about living with BPD ! Many people with a mental issue act as if they have no responsibility for their BPD behavior , some refuse to try & help themselves , they hide from their personal responsibility with drugs or alcohol or both . These people spend their whole life blaming anyone & everyone for screwing up their lives , this is sad & doesn’t have to be ! Those with BPD can educate themselves , they can learn personal triggers ,( people ,places & things that can cause them to lose control of their actions & emotions . Ex: one of my triggers is loud repetitive noises , this causes anger ! So I remove myself from those situations , it took years to learn something that simple …. Some BPD sufferers also tend to pick up & become like people they are around ex: when I was around a Irish Priest my family brought to my attention that I started having an Irish accent , I’m a Southern woman , so that was weird , another time it was witnessed that being in counseling , I started talking & acting like a real therapist , none of it intentional it just was ! Many BPD that I have known have some of these things happen in their lives ! I guess what my point is that Amber needs to own HER issues not try & blame others , once she helps herself then she can let this stuff rest & get help & educate herself so she can move on in her life !!

I feel so sorry for JD. When you get pulled into a toxic relationship that is making you miserable, it can be physically taxing. Especially for someone such as JD who feels its important to create space when things get out of hand. I have heard that in relationships where one partner is violent, the best solution is to create space. This allows the violent party time to calm down. Of course this solution doesn't work with someone who becomes even more enraged because they were denied the fight they were looking for. There is a word that describes someone who acts like AH. That word is "Nuts".

As a medical student working in my psychiatric rotation, amber heard is a classic case of borderline personality disorder and the biggest red flag is patients with this disorder have extreme trouble having relationships especially healthy ones. Even Amber's flat affect throughout this entire court hearings is another sign, she's lost the remorse that many people with this personality usually have, this is dangerous and can explode in the worst possible way at any moment.
About histrionic personality disorder, another thing that we learn is that a lot of the time people with this personality use their sexuality and beauty to overpower another individual, most likely their lovers which it seems is very likely the case with amber heard and how she landed a man almost twice her age.

What's difficult with BPD is that these people have a VERY difficult time managing their disorder, making them in actuality a victim themself. Therefore it is very hard to blame or critize these people because they often are unable to acknowledge and accept their faults as Dr. Curry explained.
I hope she seeks help after this, if not it will all be a tragedy.

Bro these disorders don’t make people, fight, abuse, pick at, and name call people. Being mentally unstable is one thing but purposely lying, abusing, scheming, and provoking someone is not. They just use that as an excuse to keep doing what there doing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a case like this, where someone is blatantly lying like this.
