2) Massive respect to Jimmy for understanding the value and effort that Colin and Samir put in and giving back by coming back - and giving the show exslusive here. He could easily get an announcement exclusive basically anywhere (any show, outlet, podcast), but he sticks with the YT community ecosystem.

I'm late here but I'm not gonna lie i think his newest video (Ages 1 - 100 Decide Who Wins $250,000) was too slow. Every other "slow" video of his i loved but that one just felt too slow.
i really like how non-modest he is. he's still humble but he's aware of how huge he has become and how much he's able to do. he's not toning it down or making it sound like less than it is. jimmy is so awesome

Honestly his singular vision of CZcams is refreshing. So many youtubers want to be something else, to prove that they're more than just a "youtuber". The fact that Mr. Beast leans into it so heavily and has yet seen the highest level of success on the platform should be an inspiration to other content creators that you don't need the respect/recognition of people outside of your platform to have ultimate fulfillment.
Never seen a single mr beast episode but everytime I see this dude he just seems so wholesome. Never brags, always kind and all about the viewers. Love this dude.

The way he reaches unbelievable milestones between these (yearly) interviews and every time making the earlier ones seem smaller is the perfect example of always trying and being better than yesterday, better than the previous video... The most highlighted lesson for a creator.

The one thing that has stayed so consistent about this man is his dedication to the craft. He is truly a visionary whose only motivation is to keep reaching the next level. At any time this guy could just cash out, or keep milking the same video formats but he keeps pushing to raise the bar. Excited to see where this eventually lands.
I don't know why people think that Jimmy is slowly reaching a saturation point, whereas he has just scratched the surface. 🤔

Yeah actually... I get what they want to convey but MrBeast is alway evolving. And I think MrBeast is much more than just viral
his youtube videos have definately reached a saturation point. which is why its a good thing he's branching out into showrunning
I think something I've noticed is that Jimmy sometimes assumes things he did were always wrong, rather than the audiences and tastes develop. Almost not giving his past self enough credit.
For example, in my limited understanding/opinion, the "Open mouth thumbnails" were popular because people came to CZcams for the stuff they couldn't see on TV and were expecting shocking or out of this world stuff and that expression is a picture form of it. However, as CZcams has become more mainstream, people want reality. I think his past decision to use them wasn't a mistake, but a sign of the time.
Of course, I'm not claiming to know more than Jimmy, he is an absolute genius when it comes to his content and I'm subscribed and am in constant awe of his business decisions. 100% respect to him. Just surprised at how little credit he gives his past self.
I suspect that he's hard on himself like that on purpose I would imagine to keep himself in the game. He literally outdoes himself on almost every video which frankly I could never do. Cheers!

Sounds interesting what you said, he might use that mindset to push forward. If he constantly feels like he did not do good enough he will push himself to do better. Otherwise he would start to feel comfortable and not push as hard.

@thelifewithnate that's a fair point. I'm a designer, professionally, and I'm hard on my designs, too. Maybe I would sound the same. I just think it's important to also feel accomplished even if you want to do even better. But that's easier said than done.

I really enjoy this interview, love seeing just a nice chat with famous faces and as a big fan of reality tv, I'm excited to see what's in store. I love Wipeout (alot alot), Survivor, Big Brother, the new Deal or No Deal Island, or most shows. I do hope the editing isn't so fast paced so I'm glad it's a bit of a hybrid but also I agree with what Jimmy said on how he doesn't like confessionals/thought cutaways during a challenge as it really breaks the mood especially during something that's so insane or intense. That's something I love Deal or No Deal Island/Survivor not doing. Something that makes me love reality competition shows is when you find someone you can root for, depending on what the show is (if its a social game or something like crazy/funny challenges) maybe you'd want a villain in there but regardless, a good show must have a great format/challenges/what the show is itself. Then the editing/execution has to be good too, one of the things the Wipeout revival has that I don't like is the pacing of how they don't even show a full run on all of the obstacles, however they fixed that in their newest season. Finally, depending on what the show is, good commentary/host. Jimmy has always been pretty good at his own videos though. Good luck to Jimmy and his show as I am excited to see it!!
Sorry for the paragraph I just really am excited for this project.
The section of this on "slowing things down" and how his content has gotten a bit slower over time was very interesting. Would love to see his edit team take a run at one of his older videos and extend it from a 12 min runtime to a 22 min runtime and see the difference. I would think it would be a great way to actually feel what you are talking about; and would also be very educational.
I completely agree, since the algorithm on CZcams is different than any other, now you see MrBeast who averages 100s of millions of viewers. He has been carrying for a while, but the real question can he still, *and* do it better??
Many of his earlier videos were kind of annoying for me, but still mostly fun. The latest ones have definitely been better and having him update one of those old ones would be really interesting.
These Mr Beast interviews are becoming a tradition at this point and I am all for it! Jimmy is an A++ Creator 💖

Honestly for the longest time a lot of younger viewers used to tell us we need to cut our scenes faster to make it more interesting. glad to hear that Jimmy is slowing it down. might make the more viewers get used to appreciate more intentful storytelling.
This will actually be great for Amazon prime too... they let comedians basically do what they want and for them to give mr beast all the freedom is such a big deal for streaming services.

Interviews with Jimmy are always a great watch but the most interesting part to me is how, even when off his channel and being long-form interviewed by C&S, he can never turn off his YT video checklist (thinking about creating hooks for them in the beginning, foreshadowing to create retention, explaining to the viewer what they're seeing, etc).

Hey guys! Love your work. I'm a Spanish speaking subscriber and I want to give you feedback on your dubbing, it's literal word for word and many things are lost in translation. For example: "it's your second time in the chair" translates into something like "it's your second time in the sit".
I think they used ElevenLabs voice cloing and google translate? I don't think it's actually done by humans

They have probably already been chosen a long time ago by MrBeast privately as with all other videos/challenges of his. There is no "signing up", you basically have to pray and hope he chooses you and invites you. But yeah, this show is already finalized in terms of who the contestants are if they are already doing it as far as the production goes etc.
