Today we speak with creator and entrepreneur Mai Pham. She's one of our youngest guests but also one of our most unique. After running away from home at 15 she started out on CZcams and never looked back, building a strong community and clothing brand called Alchemai.

As an Asian from an immigrant family, I can relate to her so much. From never wanting to be home, to trying to sell anything I could. I grew up watching her and were also the same age. It was great bc I never saw an Asian face growing up and she represented us when nobody else did. She seems like a humble and great person. And I’m happy she has a good relationship with her family. I never had support, I actually cut my whole family off. I’m sorry for the random rant, but thank you for reading.

The business and legal side of being an influencer is so fascinating. That’s what I love about this podcast is they cover it.

I'm only 12 mins in and I'm in AWE at Mai just BEING the atomic habits book person instinctivelly since she was a child, and explaining the concept of embodying the identity of that which you want to become from the book sooooo intelligently 🤯👏
I've never really watched Mai, but I loved hearing her speak towards designing clothes and merch that she was passionate about - right down to the GSM of the fabric! Her passion is palpable. The garmento conversation stole the show for me ❤

Mai has always had a clear goal, drive, vision and has made every good decision on the way. She has stayed motivated even after achieving her first goals, and dreamed bigger dreams, and then she made more good choices at such a jung age. I hope people understand how unique and intelligent she is. She put in the work, and always pays attention. Good job Mai.
Never even heard of her before this interview, but the story around her merch company is downright incredible. Really shows how it pays to not compromise on quality. A+ video.

She definitely doesn't lie hahaha and that is an incredible differential for brands. It is also very noticeable when she makes hauls and brands that she loves send her things. She is going to take more time to thank and value the fact that she, as a consumer for years, now receives attention from the brand. I don't know anyone else like that
