i actually miss the guided missle and the combat shotgun
After seeing this video it just seems more and more apparent that Fortnite just needs ranked playlists. All these additions do seem a little broken, but also just seem fun to mess with and people complain a lot bc they are direct counters to building
You know what would be cool let's say fortnite is about to finish on the final and I mean THE FINAL chapter for fortnite what they should do is bring back all previous stuff from back then and combine all the islands into one big colossal island like tilted with a bit of neo tilted with some ice patches and some sand etc. imagine every single weapon and all locations mashed into one.

@@TheNe3ek Also I have a good idea on how they can do that let's say the Zero Point was about to get implode again but instead of restarting the universe it brings in other Zero Points, 6-7 of them and they're spread across the island kinda like the cubes, trying to fix itself with its own power. And when the final live event happens it shows all the Zero Points merging together and when that's done it becomes the "Whole Point" and it would be a perfect symbolism for fortnite like "This is the Whole Point of Fortnite have fun, make friends, Rage, laugh, make awesome kill moments, explore, do stunts, missions that's the Whole Point of Fortnite it's a game which you can enjoy without being told what to do or being monitored no IO, no Geno, no kymeras, no Galactus, no villians enjoy the perfect reality".

I feel like the Smoke Grenade was something people should have accepted. The whole point of them was to hide, run or recover
They would be good for things such as the late game or when you have no builds and throw a smoke bomb and then heal or revive a teammate

Vaulting snipers might have left a hole in peoples hearts, but I think it helped fill the hole that occupied a new unsuspecting player's head.

@@JVDW1 That’s exactly why I don’t play arena. When there’s a tournament that you can get a free loading screen for participating in I do however play a match or 2 just to get the loading screen for fun.

They were fun, if OP at first. But when they nerfed the Missile count and fire rate so you could block them with builds they were less op.
I liked to use them to get into advantageous positions lategame.
The mech is a device that can finally stop sweats and toxic players , but it kinda backfired

Yeah. Especially since the sweats are they people who are the most invested in the game and the most vocal ones when they dislike an item. A casual player isn’t going to go and rant on social media if Epic adds an item they hate. They’ll just be like “oh well.”
Anyone watching this at the end of season 8 and heard Tommy say “and luckily we never have to deal with something like that” and think: oh hohohoh you have a BIG surprise coming soon ;)

Season X might be my favorite season, people complained about the mechs way too much. They were very easy to outrun and only had one life, the UFOs on the other hand are OP
True, the mechs do need a little nerf, but it wasn't as bad as people said, it was pretty easy to defeat, sweats just don't like it because they are cowards who build themselves in and onepump players who get in and they couldn't do that with the mechs

I personally find it satisfying when a weapon or tool releases that can overpower the people that run around building apartments any time a stray bullet so much as flies near them. Wasnt around for the mechs but I absolutely love the rail gun. Build all you want, if I have good aim I can still neutralize you.
This. The way it should be. Give them their building skill, but give us a few weapons and grenades that render them inert. Down to pure gunplay and skill at that point.
Ikr! Best part was that it wasn't easy to do. The railgun was 80 ish damage and it could only go through one wall.

In my opinion I never got to use a mech cuz I played every season but season x and i liked guided rockets

These updates in chapter 1 were not bad. They made fortnite feel new. And everyone would use these things.

I enjoyed most of these items/updates. As a person that has to play with 200+ ms ping due to no servers in my country, most of these updates made me feel like I actually had a chance at winning. I LOVED the stink bombs and the mounted turrents.. I mean let's face it... There is no way I am winning a build battle against a creative warrior playing with 10ms ping while I am stuck with 200ms ping and packet loss every now and then. The stink bombs and turrents actually gave me a small chance of countering the low ping players building. It seems like most of the complaining about updates comes from the "pro" players.
you just explained why they were so hated. they were crutch items used by players who didn't have skilled

The fact that a lot of this stuff on this list is pretty easy to counter if you are good I never really seen as many people complain about most of this stuff besides streamers or kids that just don't know how to play the game as good as everyone else

Something I’ve noticed that everyone thinks that the Drum hub was released on S5 but no, it came in the last S4 update
I kinda liked the mechs becuase they were a unique like vehicle.I am happy that it was only for 1 season.I used them a lot and i actually was happy that they were in the game.If they dont add them back again then it would be ok but if they added them again probably a lot of players would quit the game until the season was over

Even if chapter 1 season 7 got the most hated updates it still wont stop me from having it as my favorite season.
I loved henchmen, and most of all the music was amazing! Season 2 had so much atmosphere, that’s what dominates it over other seasons

One thing people don’t get is that the planes were just meant to move around and to shoot down other planes, which is why the turret is at the front and not at the bottom and also why it’s a turret and not bombs

I honestly think the "most" people who he refers to are pro's who just play to win. It really baffles me that people can't just enjoy the game and consistently complain. Epic isn't doing anything wrong they're just trying to standout or enjoy it from their perspective.

I loved the IO guards (but only in season five) I know, they were hard to take down, but the music was epic, they were fun to fight, and, the dropped one of my favourite guns, the tactical AR!

One thing I think is a little wrong in this video is mythics and the bosses were always the best thing because there's always a reason to go to this location whereas they don't roam out of that area like mythic bosses
There's something else people might dislike about this season and it's the fact that there's not enough mythics, not only that but the mythic we got is a pulse rifle that we can find at almost every rarity ( that's something I hated and people might agree with me )
I actually liked the mechs, and only bc of the emote and the fact it could do emotes, but I think it’d be good if they brought it back with fuel, no turrets, the stomp and speed forward, the jump, and the baller. God, such good things, ooooh and the drift board, that’d be so much fun

Yes you can fire it for 12.5 seconds straight but they you have to reload for 5 seconds without interruption.
