I almost own the full collection of Contax Carl Zeiss AEG version, from 15mm up to 100mm, with the exception of the 21mm. This 35mm is a dream lens. Love you guys for your effort and work.

Just got a super cool modified HFT version which appears to be 9-bladed with a triangle aperture like the original B speed! Will share how it looks when it arrives

If anyone wants to see it in natural light on a red dragon, my most recent video (parkour) was shot primarily on that as well as the 16mm contax zeiss

I was wondering if you've experienced any increased CA from your 35mm 1.4? I just purchased a Contax Zeiss 35mm f1.4 and am experiencing an abundance of CA. I'm not new to vintage glass, but this lens produces more than any of my other lenses (takumar 25 f2, helios 85mm f1.5, Nikon 50mm, etc.). It would be a huge help if you could send me or post CA tests with it. I'm trying to determine if I just have a bad copy of the lens or if it's just the way they are.
Hey am... I am at IBC Amsterdam right now, so I don't have access to the lens. Spontaneously I would say that it has unusual CA.
