Why does Carra assume that they didn't? Liverpool have known of Klopp's departure since November, they've had plenty of time to consider and weigh up different managers. Do people really think they just looked at Feyenoord and immediatly think ''yep, that's our guy'' ...?

It's a rigorous process to become a Liverpool manager. Don't just follow media suggestions like with MU and appoint a manager.
How can Carragher choose Tuchel who bottled it at bayern Munich with all the resources we need to give chance to new young managers let's not start judging the coach before he start. If Slot start to have a good ran of performance same Carragher will start to praise him. The Liverpool management did their work and chose Slot as the guy to take the position what we need to do as fans is to support the new manager, Liverpool brought in Wataru Endo fans complain after some time Endo started to perform well same fans came saying Sorry to Endo so let's not judge the new manager b4 he start to work Let us give a chance to prove himself

surprised with carra here. I understand that TT is a renowned proven manager that would have the personality to manage an institution like Liverpool, but his system is in stark contrast to Klopps and bringing him in would be an absolute overhaul for the club. Whereas Arne Slot, who granted may not have the credentials of Klopp, is a continuous appointment whereby the last 9 years under Klopps era is not just a revolution, rather a renaissance. I say this as a manc who wishes nothing more than their downfall, but considering how well ran the club has been since klopps arrival I would be surprised if the board have planned for this years ago and I suspect in Slots appointment they plan on building on Klopps legacy rather than starting from scratch.. I hope Im wrong though
