Hi Richard. I was thinking to of doing the same mod on my montefeltro in the hope of reducing recoil. Did you notice any recoil reduction afterwards? Also, does it make the gun very front heavy?

How long is the barrel on your gun? I have the 30in and don't have a problem with it being to whippy

+del folds Mine's the 28" mate. They don't stay swinging like a proper clay gun; i really like that extra weight.
