If it is last minute cancellation on the first date, I would graciously accept it. However, I would not set up another date with her again. In other words, I would ghost her.
One of my dating rules is - I plan the first three dates and then pause to see if she is motivated enough to plan a fourth date. If she invites you to dinner at her house for date 4, 5 or 6 - things are going in the right direction. If she isn't motivated to suggest a date on her own - that is a red flag to start looking elsewhere. My friends ' wives all disagree with me and think I should continue to plan all the dates.

Be casual about it and accept. Depending on the situation....if it's an emergency then alright. If it's for some other reason.....peace out. Simple.
