Worse Boat DIY Job EVER! | Mayland Fishing Boat

Hello and thank you for stopping by! In this episode I finally finish restoring on our GRP 1980 Mayland fishing boat. The new windows are in, the Suzuki DT9.9 2 stroke outboard engine is fitted, and the enamel paintwork is done. Won't be long and we will have this boat out on the river, maybe even the sea? Join me as I finish these last little tasks on this wonderful 15ft cuddy cruiser.
In my other episodes, you can watch me work on a variety of boats including a 1970 Phantom Cruiser, a 1995 Shakespeare SummerSport speedboat, a Bonwitco 300 and a small tender called 'Sharky!'
I also play with a lot of engines, many of them in a non-working condition. I like to revive them, get them back into working order and running! You can see me work on many makes including Johnson, Evinrude, Suzuki, Mercury, Mariner, Tohatsu, Volvo, Yamaha, Honda and many many more.
Lately I have collected a few vintage British Seagull 2 stroke outboards, many of which have not run for decades!

Thank you! Yeah, I did enjoy working on this boat, but those windows were a killer to do. Worth the hassle though because the end result is amazing. Wouldn't want to do them again, but the Phantom Cruiser project is coming back soon, and I have 4 windows to do on that boat, two of them are curved! 😭

Nice watching you work, but you used polystyrene not acrylic (perspex). Polystyrene is cheaper but it goes yellow in the sun I'm afraid.
