- They're the identical twins who married identical twins - and now their unique family is even bigger with the addition of two babies! Inside Edition has followed them every step of their relationships, from their double proposal engagement, to their walk down the aisle together, tying the knot in a double fairy-tale wedding. They both recently welcomed two baby boys, named Jett and Jax. The babies are cousins, but genetically they are considered siblings, since they share the same two sets of DNA.
This is bizarre. Proposing together, marrying together, living together, obviously planning the pregnancy at the same time. This takes twinning to an entire new level.

There was a family up the road from where I grew up that has a situation like this. Twin brothers married Twin sisters and bought a plot of land to put IDENTICAL houses on (they were mirror images of each other) the women became pregnant at the same time and each gave birth to twin boys, so 4 kids in total. I came from a small town so it was the talk of the town.

One of my co-workers was mother to identical twin boys who married identical twin girls. Both sets of twins made it very clear from their beginnings, they were inseparable. The only thing different in their story was they bought houses side-by-side. They genuinely did everything together.

@@hollymiranda0826 She didn't find it odd as much as unique. Her twins were absolutely great kids and it seems the same for the daughter-in-laws. When your kids grow up being inseparable, it just becomes the normal. They found the same compatibilities in the girls they married.

No because they're from different sets of egg and sperm so the same way you're not genetically identical to your siblings but more like 50%, although there's a exponentially low chance of being anything higher or lower than 50%, so there could be a person with 80-90% related to their siblings

Eventually, we decided to part ways after college for us to have unique identities to call our own. Although, I wouldn't judge if a twin decides to live together till marriage, we have our own circumstances

I worked with a guy at my last job who went to that twin festival every year with his twin brother. We all loved seeing the photographs he brought back. They work together as twin DJs on the weekends

As an identical twin, I agree! Don’t get me wrong, i enjoy talking to my twin sister and hanging out with her, but it’s extremely difficult to create your own identity. Everyone expects the two of you to be the same, and you’re always being called the wrong name. (It isn’t other ppls fault we look alike so I totally understand, but it’s been 15 years and I’m somehow still not used to it)

My husband's father is an identical twin. The kids have definitely got then confused especially since my father in law will sometimes play along . Usually within five seconds the kids pick up it's notntheir dad but the grandkids it takes about two minutes .

My sister is one of my best friends but I couldn’t live with or next to her. I legit turned down an apartment that was directly above hers because that’s just too close! I love her but I can’t be around her like that lol. But my actual best friend who I call my sister we could live together or next to lol.

I've heard that the bond between twins is a very special thing impossible for everyone else who don't have them to comprehend. It makes sense that a pair of twins will be completely okay with the thought of sharing their life like that. Plus, it does make economic sense. In asian cultures, it's pretty normal for siblings to continue living together with their own families as long as there's room for them to use. The idea of sharing their life together with their twin might actually be a comfort for all parties involved.
My husband's father is an identical twin. They live in different countries but when they see together without even planning it they always match their ties, as in by mistake getting such similar clothes it's fascinating. They also constantly finish eachothers sentences and they continue the others thought process as if they can read eachothers mind. They both have grandkids and have lived far from eachother since the late 80's but I can honestly say they have such a unique and special bond. And yes, even their own children have come up to the uncle thinking it's their father, giving them a big hug and then realizing it's not dad

@alexcrowder1673 have you ever heard of chimera before? Medical term for a human who share two sets of dna. Typically with a deceased sibling and some of said dna can be absorbed by the living baby. Maybe you could be one, though I doubt it

I'm all for siblings and family being close, its nothing wrong with that, but with everyone living under the same roof and planning on having babies at the same time it's a little weird. It may seem cute but there's something unhealthy about this whole situation! I hope this is just a phase they're going through and each family realized they need to be in their own individual homes!!
Everyone living under the same roof was the norm back in the days. Housing was not cheap. In Asian culture, you suppose to live together as one big family. Grandparents, parents, and kids all live together.

What I'm talking about is..in this particular situation you have two identical twin married couples who is choosing to start their married lives out together living under one roof and getting pregnant and having their babies at the same time just so all their kids can be the same age..then you have the separation syndrome thing going on, where they have to do everything together even down to dressing alike and completing each other sentences all while living and raising two families under one roof because they don't want to be separated!
