    It seems to show better wood-to-metal fit than many other Berettas, so they are aware of the deficiencies elsewhere in their line. It's an expensive gun but still uses monoblock barrel construction found on cheap guns all over the world. But they do make solid, well-engineered guns that last.

    • @lloydyp
      @lloydyp  Před 3 lety

      monoblocs work, why change a working formula?

    • @wholeNwon
      @wholeNwon Před 3 lety

      @@lloydyp Of course they work. But they are cheaply built barrels for which they are charging a premium price.

      I know what you meant. I loved the SL3, lovely nimble gun that's a pleasure to shoot, although I'd only go 20 if I was planning on walked up shooting. Believe it or not, I've never actually tested a B15, so I can't comment.

    Question is the beretta 687 silver pigeon III in 28 ga built on a true 28 ga frame or is it built on a 20 ga frame?

    I ordered a Beretta 694 in 35/50 non adjustable. I haven't had a chance to shoulder the gun yet. Most guns fit me well right out of the box. Do you think the 35/50 694 will be a good fit or is it designed for a more specialized fit?
