The Austrian brands have a huge advantage with their bikes starting out 11lbs lighter than any other bike that's alot of time they can focus on suspension and motor instead of weight shaving
You’d think, except the feel is really where it counts, and the Austrian brand is having a slow go of figuring that out, except Malcom, which he’s stated in the past that he’s not a good tester and just adapts to the bike. Looking at any of these bikes you gotta wonder how they could not be the best bike these guys have rode, ever. All of them are insane.
You’d think that but kyb is the master of suspension I think wp is the future but as of now those guys running kyb are up front
@@dawsonryker8152 couldn't agree more, I've got a 21.5' Rockstar edition... Dropped it off with 0.1 hours (heat cycles only) to my KB5 guy for a KYB SSS conversion.
Air forks are crap ! 💩

Can somebody explain to me what "FACTORY" means... Is it just that those parts are straight from the factory, only built for the professional ? sorry if its a stupid question, city boy...I'm new to the sport.
My fav bike out there, but I'm a bit biased from buying a 21 Rockstar. Suzuki & Gas Gas are the only brands out there that I haven't owned over the years. I love those as well..

Dude, I rode the new yz450 and the new rm450. Was honestly more of a fan of the Rm. I currently am rocking the fc, but the rm has been on my mind since.

These factory machines are such works of art. Can anyone explain why they don't use carbon fork guards? I always wondered how the plastic didn't rip off from the holeshot devices. It was interesting that they reinforced it with carbon but why not just go all the way?

Those foot pegs are thin. Titanium is extremely strong . It can also be brittle. I think I'd want some more meat there. Just me, I'm sure they know what they are doing. BIG SMILE

The worst mistake these brands made was taking the kick start off, there is zero reason for that to make sense, you don’t add electric start and take kick start off
