  • For the first time seeing if the 1976 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster Chopper Bobber Build will run after several years in the making. But beforehand, I had the honor of meeting Termite Offroad; some fellow youtubers whom I love to watch.

Drove a 1970's Wagoneer from Detroit to Jackson Hole Wyoming on Christmas eve 1977 with 3 friends! 🤣
Always an adventure getting from point A to point B on an Ironhead or Shovelhead. 😎
My first Harley Davidson was an angry ol' Ironhead right hand shift. 💖
    Old bikes have soul.

Haha, I had the exact same reaction when I brought my 79' ironhead out for the first time last year. Screaming/laughing with excitement. Such raw, fun bikes. Fair play man!

Cool, i bought a ironhead in 1979. Mine was fun, but troublesome ! My old Triumph was more reliable ! Both were maintenance intensive, fun though!

I am excited to see the iron head breathing and I can't imagine how you feel. I remember the day it came home and even though you couldn't use the original oil tank I believe it is turning out to be a hell of a bike. Well as always ride 55 and ride free.

I grew up around the livestock haulers of the 70s and 80s... I started riding with in 81 and they'd actually pop it in neutral at the top and let her rip going downhill.. they didn't do it everywhere but places where there's very little curves

Sweet ride! I love the old bikes especially Sportsters and Evos. 1 year ago, I moved from Boise Idaho where the riding season is short but diverse to central Louisiana where I can now ride most of the year so after I finish this comment, I'm riding! Congrats on getting that old iron running again.

Man it's been a minuet since you got that thing and it's so cool it's running and rideable. Drum brakes, oh man I got them too and if I didn't have the front brakes I don't know how much I would ride my bike. Brake fade is a real thing and I learned that a couple of weekends ago when I over shot a corner on some twisty's. Lucky no one was coming so it was ok. Respect these old bikes or they will bit you. Termite reminds me of my old FJ-60 Land Cruiser. 65 mph down hill.
