Ironhead Sportster ABANDONED for YEARS! | Will It run?

Welcome! In this video, we see if we can get this old Ironhead Sportster Going again.....we might even ride it!

We've turbocharged a range of different motorcycles including V-twins, Parallel Twins and inline four's - if you can dream it, we can probably build it!
The "will it run" category is a very popular one here on CZcams - it just so happens that many of the builds we start with are bikes that haven't ran in years, making them a perfect candidate for these videos.
This bike actually wanted to come back to life - the bones of it are good, the engine (though a little low on compression) seems to be in decent shape, and other than missing quite a bit of stuff - this bike will be back to running shape in no time. '70s vintage Ironhead, the bike that turned me off of Harley-Davidson for the rest of my life. I walked into a dealership when I was maybe 17 or 18. I was looking closely at a Sportster. The sales guy made be feel less that welcome but the guy at the Honda store talked bikes with me. I guess that's why over half or the 60 or so bikes I have owned have been Hondas. With the exception of my Buell M2 Cyclone not one Harley. (Oh. . . and Harley will not admit to having anything to do with Buell.) That was a very fun video! There are lots of abandons Ironheads out there.
