It's easy and it keeps your plants green bro
Me realising this man has less likes than me
I've been using it and it's great!
It's a rock roll I know it

thanks
Hahahahaha I can't stop laughing about your little lady friend carrying a big stone on the bus. It makes me happy. I'm sure she was adorable. The other people on the bus were just jealous they didn't have any stones that large.
she's a blessing
I have a weird feeling the first one wasn't talking about "temperature," but rather saying they're getting a temporary tank set up for them while they properly set up a different one. Could be wrong, but I like to live dangerously
Yeah that kinda looks like a quarantine tank that they had been using before but is currently empty, just judging by the evaporating water and the fairly barren decor and basic substrate. I mean I could be wrong of course, but I feel like even though they won them from a carnival that's just temporary quarantine and maybe they are looking to set up a larger tank for them eventually? I hope so anyway...
You’re good at not thinking cynically ill tell ya that.
I thought the same
I’m setting up a temporary tank right now
Call me naively optimistic but I agree with you as well.
Damn Chris actually got sponsored by aquarium co op
🙌
👏

So cute
Oh she sounds wonderful, how sweet is that?
Ikr adorable ☺️. That little lady is a keeper. 💗

Chris: Calls millie a chicken
Millie: *Hmmmmm smells like disrespect*
Millie:Murder(takes over channel)
too bad milly doesn't have a nose. (jk xD)
@@FishForThought hey chris what about starting a new series where you only review petscord memes and fantastic posts plz reply I really want it u can call it Daily Dose Of Petscord :)
(in karen tone) ummm actually birds can't smell anything (like really tho)
You spelt disrespect wrong, it’s disrespek
4:25 That's a keeper right there.
AYO, dat aquarium co-op sponsor! Way to go, my guy!
thank you Haygee
Also, a trick for filling your vials accurately is to ask your pharmacy for a medicine syringe. They're marked so it's easy to see how much water you're getting.
"Chris: calls millie a chicken" "Millie: I'm not phat"
The trick to getting to the line everytime with the test viles is to dip the vial into the tank vertically and the deeper you go the faster it fills.
So you dip it in and fill it towards the line, once its near the line just barely let any water fall into the tube and youll get it perfect every time.
TIP:-
If you want your 5ml line hit every time, use a medical syringe. Can't go wrong.
Good answer, good answer,
I use a Child's cough syrup dropper goes right to Five mils , simple and easy ,
are- are we still talking about water testing
The test kit I bought came with a dropper
Dennis Lumbania, mine came with it too!
@@FishForThought yup
Pro tip: syringe from cvs for cough syrup is amazing for filling test tube, just suck a bunch up and then squeeze to perfect amount, one dropper fills like two tubes perfectly!
You big brain
That’s crazy that’s my local fish store! Awesome to hear them shouted out🙌
I used to have many freshwater planted tanks but i had switched over to saltwater as of late. Your channel inspired me to get back into freshwater. Thinking about doing a shrimp only tank
I like freshwater
sponsored by aquarium co-op? this is the crossover of the century
Ok 6:10 I can relate so much, it almost hurts to see the truth. Last month I had almost zero money left, so I needed to hold it together to be able to buy food. Next day I did buy a new plant für my Shrimps, because I think a new floater species is so much fun for them, and I love to see them sitting on the roots and doing their shrimp thing. I really have a plant addiction problem, why do they all look so cute underwater, specially when my shrimps sit on them I can’t stop staring at it. Aahh take my money plant growers XD
Just met Cory and Dean on Saturday at their event. They will be expanding the size of the store and giving Murphy a $30k tank that is about 3 times the size of his current one.
Edit: I wore your cory gang shirt to the event. Dean seemed to like it.
I used public transport for a year and lemme tell you, carrying around a giant stone is one of the LEAST weird things you can do on a bus
If people struggle with hitting the water test line may i suggest using 5ml syringes, it's also safer for the tank if you didnt thoroughly clean out the test tube as no chemicals make contact with syringe or pipette
I ordered a pack of like, 20 plastic pippettes from amazon. They're super useful for filling the vials for water testing, but they can also measure out 10 millimeters of liquid for ferts, medicine, etc
went to store today to buy fish food and ended up with a 20 gallon. Guy at counter was like.... "...that's a spontaneous purchase, huh?" and I was like..." this is gonna be my 4th tank.... so yes."
It's so true about getting fishkeepers aquarium stuff though. I'm still fairly new to fishkeeping and everyone around me is wondering what to get me for birthday/Christmas. I just keep saying things for my tank - always needing plants! 😆
I wanted to keep chicken, but they would be too noisy. Ended up keeping quails in a big hutch. Love it, they don't make loud noises and they sound like really quiet wild birds up close. They lay a couple of eggs everyday, just make sure to clean their house once a week, clean water, high protein food with crushed oyster shells to increase calcium uptake, and sand. Easy!
found your channel about 2 months ago and have been loving it, i look forward to every monday!
Aquarium co op is legit...I love that place. :) They're local for me so I'm super happy about that. :)

I love when rapashy is In the videos.
Oh wait- you too Chris! ❤️🐟
The test tube filling thing lowkey triggers me so I got my partner to “borrow” a handful of disposable droppers from the lab he worked at back in the day. Life changing.
Chris: do you like my new microphone?
Rapashy: it’s my mic!
Until I watched your videos, I never knew how important and how skilled you have to be in order to take care of a fish. I loved fish ever since I was little, and I’m just now interested in how important it is to keep them healthy. Well, you learn something everyday I guess. 🐟🐠
Definitely love the koi fish biotope tank you show at the end😉😆😂
Thats such a cute story with the ohko stone on the bus. I know exactly how she feels with people staring at me in public. I hate it, I try to blend in as much as possible and hate having anything on me out of the ordinary that might draw more than a casual glance. You must mean a lot to her. Thats so sweet.
Chris: talks about his kuhli loaches without pics
Me: SHOW US THE NOODLES!
I live in New Jersey so I haven't had a chance to visit Aquarium Co Op but I have shopped with them by mail and watched a lot of Cory's videos, He's a good guy to listen to and buy products from. I wish he would ship fish.
Get a small syringe, and you'll never have to worry about messing around with over fill / under fill line in the vial again.
Chirs just showing that aquariums are outlets for our inner child rock collector.
Me who uses an eyedropper for my API test tubes:
Right, yeah, I totally have to struggle with the fill line
If you cover the hole on the tube with your finger and submerge it you can slowly move your finger till it gets enough air out for water to reach the line..works perfectly Everytime
Damn the last time Chris had a sponsor was when monkey tried turning into human.
5:20 that's so sweet
Thank God, I've been stuck inside all day due to covid and been waiting for this all day.
@@FishForThought:)
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A "KOI FISH" LIVING IN A RIVER "BIOTOPE" BUT THAT RIVER HAS ORANGE SAND AND PINK BACKGROUND? I THOUGHT OF THIS WHEN I SAW A REALLY COOL AQUARIUM FLASHING PINK LED ON THE BACKGROUND AND THE REFRACTION STUFF THAT MADE PERFECT SAND LOOK ORANGE.118 FTR MADE MY EYES ALWAYS LOOK FOR SOMETHING BAD IN EVERY TANK.
THAT TANK WAS PERFECT,HEALTHY,PLANTED,BEAUTIFUL
I use my (clean) finger to drop a couple droplets into the vial and you can accurately measure the water at the end when you’re just slightly below the line.
Honestly its pretty cute the rock story, its a lot better then my memories of using public transport. Would but rather have that them a guy in a nice suit take out a tube of butter and eat it like a granola bar like it was normal.
Dude I totally relate to test tube! It's so annoying, I always put too much dump some out and then it's too little lol
My dad buying me my first fish tank when I was 6: ,,It'll be fun"
Me now being 15 years old being addicted to this hobby: 👌
Love the wholesome girlfriend story, what a trooper! Still didn't make me forget seeing your comment on Kitchen Nightmares Hood Classics though.🤔 Absolutely bamboozled me to see my fav fishtuber commenting on Kitchen Nightmares lol. Love the videos as always and always cheer me up, keep it up! :)
glad i found you.
i use to have a bettas and yeah they died.
when i ask how to take care of them the shop keeper and breeder says “just put it in a jar”
my father says “i use to put them in a glass bottle and they do just fine”
the info on an internet as long as it is in my language it will say the same no matter how deep you go.
now i know why they died. and i felt i’m the worst. but thanks to you i know what to do now if i ever gonna have bettas again.
For the test tube filling, get a bowl, sample some aquarium water, use a water dropper to drop water into the tube. Two bucks at a cheap store. Boom game changer.
Chris' sarcasm made my day a little better
PROTIP FOR THE TEST VIAL THING: go to your local convenience/pharmacy store, or walmart (y'know the generic cv-greens you happen to have within a mile) and get a syringe for baby medicine- preferably one with the little settable dial at the top that stops it at a specific volume, for medicine and stuff. set that bastard to 10 ml (or whatever your test tube happens to be, some trial and error may be necessary 'cause we know those suckers aren't labeled), use that to suck up your tank's water, and get that little line, first try, every time!
Chris! Thank you for helping me fall in love with fishkeeping! I now work at a LFS in Addison and I love seeing the fish every shift. I'm learning more every day and my tanks look better than ever with the new tips I've been picking up
Tip for filling the water to the line on the test kit, I use a pipette to put the water in so it's just drop by drop :)
Love to see the aquarium co op sponsorship!
Congrats on the aquarium co op sponsor 🔥🐟
Another great Fish Tank Review😁 Pashy
Has learned an awesome curl pose on the mic 😁
I think you're on to something on your aquarium behind you you should make a Fsh For Thought Shoe Light🤔😁
You have the best girlfriend ever, I loved the story of the Ohko Stone!!🙏🥰
Thanks for always starting our day out with positivity, laughs and learning.. Have a blessed day Chris and everybody!!!
🌿🐟🌿💚
You too.
haha that might be the next new trend, aquarium shoe lights!
Thanks Mary :)
@@FishForThought on the shoe light.....
I would be so honored to do an unboxing 😁🤣💚🥰🙏🙌
I live near a place where the delivery cost more than the product. I would have gotten that shoes.
"This handsome YOUNG man named CHIRS"
If you use one of those squeezy droppers, you can hit the line every time. Highly recommend.
Maybe the Asian restaurant owner was trying to make a lagoon biotope tank for his koi fish? At least it wasn’t overstocked.
I have a test kit, but I rarely use it unless I've just set up a new tank. Honestly, when your tank is established and you're just testing to make sure things are remaining stable and checking for nitrate build up, the test strips can do that just fine. I only break out the actual kit if there is a problem and I need more precise readings.
In our house he wouldn't dare come home with flowers it's okho stone or nothing! Haha true love at its finest
I just came back from my trip ( I climbed a peak!) But on the way back I fell and badly injured both my legs ( I'm better now) your sarcasm numbs the pain
When you're finishing a water change and realise the gods have blessed you with FTR
Also, i use a plastic syringe to fill my test vials because I had the worst rage over constantly pouring it wrong :)
I fill my test vials with a dropper. makes it much easier =)
Pro tip: Use a dropper to fill the test tube. It'll be perfect every time, and you'll feel like a scientist.
Carnival fish story... I went to one as a kid and won a fish, but the fish they gave me came in a bag(typical) but the guy reached into the bottom of the tub and picked the one and only brown/gray fish (not sure what it was) in the giant tub of goldfish, the bag popped open and had almost no water and he just filled the bag with water from said tub with his hand.
Is it possible for you to have a bigger tub for the goldfish? Maybe make it into a little biotope with a couple of small Koi fish in the mix. I'm sure you'll have a proper pond ready for them once they get big enough.
Me :
Does a biotope, like a google image perfectly( EVEN AFTER MANY RESEARCHES )
Results: Wood floated, Plant all mis arranged, Substrate high at a particular area

Oh dudes Repashy lookin' extra Fleek today!
You’ve gone so far since ep 1!!!
4:33 I LAUGHED SO HARD I SPIT OUT MY TEA XD
If you use a pipette for filling vials it is much easier. They are very cheap and also work great for meds and dechlorinator and such
Whoa this is weird. I just watched your old video of odd tanks and you started it off with a military tank joke as well. I legit thought I was watching that video over for a second. I watched it less than an hour ago
oh, I think you're right. I guess I'm paying homage to my humble beginnings! Super cool that you pointed this out :)
They thought their koi fish were in a perfect biotope....... -_-
I love all ftr vids Chirs! 😂
I have quails, they are not loud (unless you get a male) and are SO ADORABLE!
Congrats on getting sponsored by aquarium co-op!
the truuu protip is to get a pipette (or turkey baster) to fill test tube vials
So cool to see more extra content! I just thought you did shorts!
Look at all these epic memes from the Discord. *stares longingly at expired link*
I wanna see him reacting to the goldfish scenes from Ryan Reynolds free guy movie
I have a question, are artificial plants really bad? I mean, I'm doing my first aquarium but I have no experience with real plants inside the aquarium and here in my city it's not easy to get them. And besides I live too far away the real plants don't survive a delivery..
Not really. Just make sure they're not hard plastic, choose ones that are soft and made from fabric like silk if possible.
The main issue is that fake plants provide nothing to the tank in terms of helping the beneficial ecosystem, so you'll have to clean the tank and keep an eye on the water parameters a lot more diligently than if you had real plants.
There's a couple nice, hardy, hard to kill plants that you might be able to get hold of though. Anubias is great for that because it doesn't need to be fully immersed in water to survive the trip.
@@robbiirvine1038 Oh! Thank you!
@@robbiirvine1038 Actually, they do provide surface area for beneficial bacteria so thats something beneficial to the ecosystem. But yeah basically nothing lol
Nobody:

Chris: *calls Repashy a princess*
Excuse me, that's QUEEN Repashy to you.
A fish tank I aquascaped years ago was a koi fish biotope in an 1000 gallon.. it didn’t work out lol
Try using a medicine dropper or syringe to fill the test vials. It's a lot less hassle
A biotope aquarium with koi fish doesn't sound too good since they need ponds.
I love you content and that you teach others how to take care of fish, fish in really underrated pets so thank you!😊👍
2:26 I love having that skill haha
Fish experts: Fish are very delicate.
Zebra Danios: …
i remember we had two feeder goldfish and we put them in the same tank then one died (it was like a year and a half old) the other fish seemed sad and we still have him he is over 4 years old!
8:23 if you really are interested mascovy ducks don't quack, they hiss instead...they also fly tho
I honestly feel pretty bad watching some of these videos because it reminds me of my childhood when my parents did some of the stereotypical bad tank setups for me and I wondered what I was doing wrong when the fish would die before they normally should. But as I got older I realized they were just dumb lol and now my tank conditions have improved drastically. All my parameters are perfect and I'm making the transition from plastic plants to real ones. Right now i have my original tank with no plants yet and a separate tank that I restored after a leak with a ton of plants (Yes I have good substrate) and some blue dream neocaridina shrimp that are connected with a water bridge sharing the bioload (Two 29 gal. tanks). Other than design problems (right now i just stuck the plants in there with no attention to detail) and the fact that I am growing some plants to eventually move into the non planted tank, I really only have two problems, I need to get my planted tank balanced (lots of algae growth fast probably too much light), and I have a common pleco. leave me alone lol, my parents sort of forced it b/c they are a bit dumb still sometimes. but it is very happy and healthy. It's tank mates include two corydoras and a small school of tiger barbs. So its a bit overstocked however they do have the other tank sharing the bioload and the parameters are perfect. Also, is there any problems I don't know about with glofish other than they are genetically modified? Because when done right it really isn't abusive and you can get some cool looking happy healthy fish that way. Just curious because I got basically all the glo barb and normal barb colors, including an albino pink glo barb. But yeah, there is room for improvement but I have improved living conditions by leaps and bounds to the point where I have been told I have probably the best water conditions that my local pet store has tested! :D
I also drip acclimate now instead of just acclimating temperature (floating the bag), I didn't know about that originally because I trusted people like my parents and some of the non experienced employees at pet stores lol. At Least I have never dumped the bag water into the fish tank though.
Aquarium co op sponser??? Niiice
