I keep hearing people say it’s a prove it year. He’s had eight years to prove it and he’s been an epic failure in the playoffs. Also if you really look game by game throughout his career, he hasn’t played all that great against really good teams, especially when somethings on the line.
out of his seven playoff games. there is only one that you cannot dispute he played well in and it was against a losing team.
In 3 of the last 4 playoff games he’s thrown 5 interceptions which turned into 27 points for the other team.
there’s a narrative on the Internet that the Cowboys don’t have enough talent. If they add more talent, they could do better, but I completely disagree with that narrative because the simple fact is Jerry can add as much talent as we want. A team can’t overcome someone turning the ball over in important games like that. Sorry Dak fans but the truth hurts
    Ps from a cowboy fan

That first half against GB pretty much ended Dak's career with the Cowboys. We got front row seats to witness a guy literally shit the bed on the biggest stage against a WC team. Sorry you have to be an idiot if you think paying that guy 60 million and making him the highest paid QB is a good idea.

The team going 4-1 with Rush means it's a good team. Dak has had support. Despite that after every season the failure is blamed on Dak's supporting cast, both teammates and coaches. I don't know why "NFL experts with their own shows and multi-million dollar contracts" think that Dak is a good QB. Because his overall Yards and the gross scoring numbers by the offense? I can't believe these guys can't look a tiny bit deeper into those numbers and see they're not indicative of Dak's play.
Week 1 they put up 40 vs the Giants. The defense generated 3 turnovers.
Week 2, 30 points against the Jets. The defense had 4 turnovers.
Week 3 no turnovers by the defense 16 points and a loss for the Cowboys.
Week 4 they beat the Pats 38-3. The defense got 3 turnovers.
Week 5 the Cowboys turn the ball over 4 times, 3 INTs by Dak and they lose 42-10.
Week 6 Barely beat the Chargers, who ended up 5-12. Only 1 TO per team and the Cowboys only scored 20 points.
They beat the Rams in Dallas 43-20. Only 1 turnover per team. But the Rams were a struggling team (3-6 at their bye) and the Cowboys are hot at home. But finally a good offensive performance that wasn't precipitated by the Defense constantly setting them up all game with turnovers.
Week 10 lost to the Eagles. The defense didn't get any turnovers, the offense only scored 23 points.
Next week Dak had a really good game at home again throwing for 4 TD, without a lot of turnover help from the defense. But the defense also scored in that game. The whole team slapped the giants around.
Beat the Panthers but they turned the ball over twice.
Beat Washington and Seattle at home in back to back weeks. Both those teams turned the ball over and the Cowboys didn't. Good offensive output at home.
Then beat the Eagles 33-13. By then the Eagles were firmly in the middle of their collapse and they turned the ball over 3 times.
Then @ Buffalo and Miami. Lost both games. got absolutely beaten to death by the Bills. They didn't commit any TOs and the Cowboys were lucky to score 10 with a TD at the end against prevent defense.
Only scored 20 vs the dolphins who didn't commit any turnovers.
Barely beat the Lions 20-19 at home. And Campbell gave that game away.
Then beat Washington 38-10 once again feasting on turnovers, getting 3.
This is all pretty typical the last 3 years.
You look at it and usually these "great regular season performances" coincide with the defense creating extra opportunities for the offense. Not because Dak is a very good QB. Dak has had a great supporting cast. And with all the bad ink McCarthy gets, his first season calling plays for Dak and people are saying it was Dak's best year.
Re signing Dak would/will be a terrible mistake.

    • @Glock2201
      @Glock2201 Před 3 dny

They could have a game where Dallas had a pick 6, a scoop and score, a blocked punt for a TD, and then another INT inside the 20 for a short field TD and they win 31-10 and Dak lovers would have a woody saying how great Dak played.

When will ppl realize the problem is the defense? The 49ers were down with over 2 ints yet came back the difference though was the defense never gave up more then 21 points. People blame Dak when it was literally the worst defensive performance in playoff history. The cowboys were down 21 before halftime. That’s defense and your so called best player Micah Parsons. Also Allen was worst yet he is still top 5 and burrow didn’t play and there backup is as just as good.
