I had bought the academy12e but few days After that I changed it for the 22e cause it sounds a little bit better to my ear. The walnut makes it sound warmer and woodier (sounds great with Martin retro strings too) and more balanced on the strumming. Yes it's laminated but still better sounding than an Epiphone IBG hummingbird which IS all solid wood I could compare with (in that Price range)
True. What would draw me to the Taylor is I know the feel they have and that some of their cheaper guitars that I have tried sound great and play better then many more expensive guitars.
@@hoffguitars479 It's funny to hear that "Tayloe plays best" argument in 2022 when professional setup of 40-100$ can make any popular brand name guitar play any way you want. Hell, you can set it up yourself. Of course neck shape is not a set-up item, but I think one woiuld have to look hard to find a badly shaped neck.
Would you buy an all Walnut guitar?? If looks can influence tone they will sound great!
Just bought a 20e, I immediately fell in love.

Yea I have an Academy 10 with a K&K Pure Mini pickup and I bought it new and it was almost half of what these are. But I still want one lol
Lmao, you could buy so many all-solid guitars at that price.

For sure. It all comes down to what you like and how it’s set up.
Are you sure? All-solid you mean with all wooden solid body?
