I worked with many Mexicans doing commercial flooring. Despite them being with another company, these guys respect anyone who works and would always offer food and goodies to everyone on the job. Great all around guys.
Worked in a tire shop with Mexican dudes, I miss my amigos, they helped teach me Spanish ( in Canada) and always shared snacks, smokes, and stories, best dudes I’ve ever worked with
I love Mexicans! 💯 They can do EVERYTHING! Damn there every Mexican male friend I had was very handy like this, no matter what you need done... Get u a Mexican friend, he will get the job done!
LOL usually sheet rocking houses or commercially is a young to mid age man's game. The ones who do it for a living in the long run do develop back problems. Reason why after a while you become a foreman, project manager, or superintendent than you can walk around telling stories of when you where younger how many sheets you use to hang by yourself all day long without breaking a sweat when apprentice complain their tired.
The whistling is critical, gives the Mexican worker 15% higher productivity.
😆😆😆😆
Awesome 😆😁

At first I was like this sucks is he really using nails but then I realized he was just holding it up with nails then screwing 😅
As a Colombian, I just realised I’m Mexican

He is using screws the nails are just to hold it 😂😂😂😂
He's only using nails to hang, and honestly thats a quick mount for 1 guy.

Not going to lie, I’m using this method. My dumba** was over here trying to prop the drywall onto stuff to screw it in.
I always use drywall screws vs nails
Buena idea viejon
Pretty much the way ya do it.
I need more videos like this!! I was super disappointed just to see one😢

How does he lift sheets all day without hurting his back?? Apologies I'm new to this and my foreman does NOT want us carrying sheets solo all day.

Use a 50 inch 1x3 as a dead man to hold up top boards I used it for 18 years
Мне кажется или он у себя на поясе ещё один гипсокартон таскает)))
Super
I never used a drywall holder. I must be Mexican lol 😆
Do you have to glue on studs prior to screwing in the drywall? I just screw the drywall like this guy and never had any issues. J/W
If you want yes. It's more expensive. But it supposedly makes it sound and weather proof. Go figure
Chale, quiero uno de esos
Good~!!!!
Lol. No problem at all mang
That's sick
No that's easy that's the only way to do it I did it for 30 years
Had the drill the whole time and still pounding nails.😂😂😂
those nails are coming out for sure🤣
Viva MEXICANOS 🎉❤
How far apart do nails have to be from each other??
It depends, but it's usually about 6 to 8 inches
That's the way I do it . Hang with nails then screw it off.
Why you starting at the ceiling ☹️
¿Porque madera en lugar de perfil metálicos?
Estados Unidos hermano
Fast work doesn't last very long
Los Latinos tienes guevos !
Pt 2 is where he leaves all of his trash behind the drywall.
Do you have many sheet rockers That I have met with their stomach hanging out
10/10 those nails will pop eventually. Hate patching them.
That was in the 60 and 70 only nails and yes if you don't have the experience will give you problems
If I put a nail, I put a screw next to it. It won't crack . I can show you.
What's not clear in the instructions. The whistling is required. 😂👏🏻 great job but you already know that
What you wanna learn
Besides whistling
What do wNt know? I'll post

Nice airgap towards the ceiling. How are you gonns fix that, smartypants?

The 1970"s called, they want their nails back.
i hope this isn’t a reference to code changes
@@Aaaayup its a reference to the fact that nails suck and became obsolete with the invention of screw guns.
Didnt you see how effortless that was tacking it with the nails?
Didnt you see how effortless that was tacking it with the nails? Or was the last time you had your eyes checked in the 1970s?
Yo what if he just used the nails to hold the sheet in place and went back to screw in the top? kinda like he did to the bottom of the sheet
That's how I was taught but was the hillbilly way
Once I get to whistlin u can gon n back on up
So. .i can use nails? I thought i had to use screws
He use nails only in starting to keep it in place
Afterward he started using screws
