Dammit, Reed is supposed to be perfect! He's always so meticulous and fastidious about everything; should've been someone else. Seriously, totally great episode all around. And don't ever be concerned about 'shilling,' or handing out too many 2s. In the whale movie, they glossed over no telling how many practically identical incidents, due to the comedic tone of the story; otherwise, the crew would've been facing another court-martial.

Hail JMan. Respect that you liked this one, and it is quite exciting but honestly I thought this one was well.... yeah, not that great. Leaving the communicator behind was an issue, but going back for it and bringing more Federation tech and risking capture was a terrible idea. The rescue plan, using a cloaked ship, is exciting but makes the cultural contamination issue even bigger.
While Archer's performance is good, their solution causes much bigger problems than had they just left the communicator there.
Pacing is good, but it relies on Archer making a terrible decision and then everyone else compounding it - and the super soldier cover story was just ridiculous to start with. Sorry man, just my take.
