I got to be the master of ceremonies for the very first Cardcon held by USPCC and Bicycle. There was magic, cardistry, card throwing and so much much more! It was a blast and can't wait for the next one!

Wherever that convention center is, they’ll find playing cards in corners forever 😂
Research drive, Irvine California right by the Spectrum.
It was an honor showing you my card collection. It's so much more enjoyable when someone like yourself understands and loves the history of all things magic and card related. Keep the videos coming! We all love being a part of the card/magic/puzzle community.
It was so great you let the world see these cards. I'm curious why you let Chris touch the cards? Almost everyone would keep them at home in a closet and never touch them
@@CV-kj4dx I think when you have something beautiful, it should be shared with the world. And Chris was very respectful as well as everyone else at the convention, hopefully next year you'll join us!
Thank you for collecting and showing this wonderful part of history. It was truly something to behold!
Lucky. I fucking WISH I could go. :/
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card collection - you’re an absolute inspiration!
What an experience! Let's go!
The historic collection would make a great stand alone video. Love the history and love what you do. Thanks, Chris!
Sign up for 52+ joker and come to one of the conventions. So many historical decks there
We need CardCon on the east coast. I’d be there in a heartbeat. And we need more V3’s Chris.
I hear that
Facts😔
The v3’s are easily accessible and cheap, it’s the 1’s and 2’s that we need
@@pandaman1869 I can’t seem to find them, and I haven’t seen them available on the 1st shop for quite a while now. I have the v4 and the Memento Mori but I really want those bastards. I do need the Holos too actually. Hmmmmmm maybe another order today.
YESSSS!!! Pleeease
I know holding those bicycles was a highlight of your life. It has to be. That's amazing. It's amazing to see how much your hard work has payed off! Congrats CR!
I still need a 1st V1 deck unfortunately I have all the others even the escape room deck.
4:44 I was lost in the movement of the cards. Hypnotized.
Those old decks at the end of the video look amazing! I liked them a lot
Yo!!! The first American set of Cards was amazing!! I like historical stuff like that and seeing those cards, the OGs, pretty sweet. Would’ve loved to have seen the dreads
3:31 hey thats my thing.
Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with us!
I have been waiting for you to post a video about CardCon. I was there and you signed two decks for me which I’m very appreciative over!! thank you for being there and being funny on stage!!
Very interesting to see the very old cards! Thank you and regards from a Finnish collector!
Chris watching your magic and card related videos is what got me I to card collecting myself, I thank you because I've never had a collection that I have been so proud of, over 400 unique decks and counting! Thank you for keeping these card related videos going!
That is awesome!
@@ChrisRamsay52 Holy Moly the King replies! I'll use this chance to say we need an update on your collection! It's been 3 years and I can't imagine how many cards you have now. Also if your ever in Las Vegas I would love to meet ya!
I’m so bummed I missed this convention, but so excited that it’s a thing now. I had too many tattoo appointments I could not reschedule, next year I’m going to block it off!
That ending 😮!! Can’t wait to see that video!
I made it in your video with you in the van haha, it was so awesome meeting you man and everyone else at the con 😍
We need more community that’s for sure. Love what the true spirit of cards represents.
That was cool as hell. Those antique (if that's the right word) cards were so fascinating! Awesome.
Missed those cards video, thank you!
😁😁😁I love a good secret at the end...
@ChrisRamsay you need to come to the 52 Plus Joker conventions. You wouldn’t believe the old decks you’ll see there! So many collectors and historians, plus designers
Thanks for filling in as emcee for me Chris
what an amazing opportunity it, looked like a blast Chris! love the card videos😁
It was!
@@ChrisRamsay52 hey just letting you know that there is a CashApp running around leaving comments on your page with your profile photo.... pretty sure it isn't you but just wanted to give you a heads up
I’m happy to see Richard Turner was with y’all 💯
Love the grading.
looks like you had a great time. Glad the event went well, hopefully many more to come.
I absolutely love your documentary videos...what a fantastic event and so much talent!!
Chris I have always liked playing cards since a child. Magic, card houses, poker, rummy,so on and so forth. I kind of drifted away, and the in my late 30s I came across one of your tutorials on you tube and the fire was reignited with the black six and black 9 trick. Thanks Brother!
Thank you Chris for sharing.
Such an enjoyable video! Woulda loved to be there, all those old cards are incredible!
Yes we need CardCon on the East Coast for sure. Wow your making history right now man! So excited & inspired that Bicycle is starting this. Definitely picked the best person for job🤘😄👍 Then ya just hop in the front seat of a van w/RICHARD TURNER sitting right behind you😜🤯 plus Rick Smith Jr. & the others✌️😎
Tigers 101 was one of the first produced by Russell, Morgan, and Co. in 1881 along with Sportsman’s 202, Army and Navy 303/505, Congress 404/606. In 1885 they became Russell and Morgan Printing Co. Then in 1891 United States Printing Co., and then in 1894 the United States Playing Card Co. Everyone just calls USPCC “Bicycle” these days.
Loved this video. The history of the cards as well
I would love to go to a cardcon, watching people controllably flail around a deck of cards always amazes me. Also, that historic collection is soooooo dope and what an amazing owner to take them out to show them off and let you play with them :D
The 52 Plus Joker convention has many more historical decks, plus you can buy/sell/trade there as well as learn the history.
Taco Hands on cards... to funny, dude!

Wish I could of been there! Next year for sure!
So dope!! I was supposed to be there!!! So bummed I missed it. Next year!!!
I have one of those early woven cards, 7 of clubs! Love it!
Chris. I can’t tell you how envious I was about CardCon being created. I wanted so badly to be there because I would’ve gotten the opportunity to show off all the unique decks, as well as sets of decks, that I’ve collected over the last two years. You were an influence for me to start collecting cards, and there are plenty more on my radar and on the way. You were first a teacher to me for my little stint in card magic, and now you’ve been a major player in my collection of playing cards and puzzles. You’ve played a significant part in my life to the point of me showing my friends cards I think they’d like, buying them for said friends so they can join in the satisfaction of having a playing card collection that contains some new, rare decks. Thank you so much, man. I hope CardCon comes to the East coast so I can head over there and thank you in person. Much love, brother!
I recently heard about this new convention of CardCon. I sure hope it did well and comeback next year. Looks like a ton of fun to be in. Hope to go next year.
I'm really enjoying this video, it's so awesome to see this stuff, thank you
So cool!
So good - also when do you sleep lol I am still editing 😋 can’t wait for cardcon 2023 now🙂
i love playing cards! i dont have an income to where i can collect but i have at least 20 various common decks that are beautiful to me! thank you for showing us this! i want to go to one but its a long ways from me and im between jobs right now!
Hi Chris I’m JACK I loved meeting you at card con it was a day I’ll never forget
Nice meeting you too!
@@ChrisRamsay52 thank you for signing my decks I willl keep those forever
Holy shit is that Richard Turner in the van? He's a fucking LEGEND.
Edit: he's the best Card Mechanic ever. Dai Vern's pupil. If anyone doesn't know who he is, look him up. He is beyond incredible. And he's blind.
Exited for the video you teased at the end!!
That was awesome
Can you make a custom wooden deck of cards 🎴? Just curious.
Such an awesome video! That dudes collection though…😮
That's a very relaxing song at the beginning 👍In fact I like all the music you used for this video. What are the titles? 🙏😃
Love your videos chris ! Wish I could be there
Dude I love these deck review videos. Can’t wait for the yearly rare deck mystery box
Awesome event! No chance to see anything like this (of this size) in the Czech rep. so thanks for this great video!
I love ur vlogs. They are the best on CZcams. I remember when u had 100k subscribers. So proud of u bro. Keep up the great work my guy. Cheers
Absolutely epic❤
Beautiful vlog
So happy to see Richard Turner turned out to the event. 👍
holding history in your hands!!
That’s the oldest deck I’ve seen moves performed on. Nate from X Decks did Cardistry with two decks of mine from 1899 and 1901, along with a couple other people at the convention in Pittsburgh.
Amazing dude
Finally a card video
Thank you brother
"Sure! Do what you want! They're over 200 years old!"
Good job dude
Hello from Moscow (Привет из Москвы)
I rember how I found your channel
It was a random pazzle video and...i rember how this got me
Thx a lot for every surprise and nice emotions you bringing in every video
Damn you got to meet Richard Turner!?!? I first saw him perform on Fool Us and the way he moves and handles cards, I bet most normal sighted magicians can't / find it difficult to do. How the hell does he manage that. Amazing legend.
I'm disappointed I didn't get a chance to see this Con. It was around the corner from me. This is awesome.
Cardcon🎉
Looking forward to this video! 👍 just gotta finish work first...
You got this!
Awesome vlog! 👍 Worth waiting the 11hrs it took to finish my shift at work.
hello chris great videos man
Chris saying how he'll MC cardcon, me thinking "aren't you already the main character?"
Your videos are so good dude
I love how you mask the voice at the end like we don't know it's Brushwood showing you his marked deck
OMG, inches from the legend Richard Turner……. No words
Loved the video
Love the content
Straight dapped up the homie but was all formal with the white guy. The world is a great place.
As you cut that deck he literally screamed it was 102 years old. I love antiques
137 years old. First bicycle deck 1885
Cooool
Do we have a clear still image of the card art?
What I find interesting about the concept of "Rarest deck of playing cards" is, wouldn't a single deck of cards, designed by one person, printed only once, and designed completely unique from any other playing card style, be by definition considered the "rarest" of all decks? ... And, if this is true, couldn't anyone with a computer (with an art program), printer, and laminator create their own personal playing card deck, whereby creating a "rarest deck"?
I'm assuming you also walked away with a few new decks so I'll be patiently waiting on a new review vid😁
Nice peace of History
Pls try hanayama puzzles!
I'll break my card throwing record at cardcon 2023 just wait
my money's on you
What's up Richard Turner!
Nice, very interesting video
Hey Chris
That card collector is surprisingly not worried about getting hand oils on his cards.
Some of his information is inaccurate as well. WWI ended in 1918, not 1917. The civil war deck isn’t the first deck made in America.
Being Cardcon, I was expecting everyone to be dressed in their favourite suit.
I'll get my coat.
Chris Ramsay you're slacking on your card collection, you might want to get some early brands
I love all you do .Sweet 😘💜💯💥
