- The ZealSound K66 Pro Studio microphone may be one of the best under $40 microphones I've ever tested - how do I know? This entire video was done with ZERO post processing on the audio track. No filters, no compression, etc. Would it benefit? Maybe a little - but the fact this microphone straight out of the box can give you studio quality sound is amazing to me.

I just got this microphone! Also, i can use this for ASMR videos now and it sounds amazing i also like the noise cancelation button which mutes the microphone which i enjoy very much just by holding the mute button.

I dont understand. I pop the microphone in my laptop through the usb cable and it stays silent. Is there an on/off button? I don't understand what I'm missing.

Hi, is it possible to put the microphone on an articulated arm?
I got it two weeks and had no problems till today… Sadly the adapter doesn’t works anymore only sometimes so I have problems connecting it to my phone/tablet I always need around 20 Minutes till it finally connects…

I’d recommend an AT2020 usb or XLR version or the Samson Q2U which has both. The Samson is a dynamic mic which will have a boomy close up pick up pattern and the Audio Technica is a condenser which will be more “accurate” depending on the type of singing.

Hi ! I bought 2 of this but it doesn't work together on my mac. There is only one of them detected by my mac. Do you know what can be the problem please? (They both works properly separately).

Yeah, theres a version that costs only $3 that comes with a entire mic stand instead of a little desk stand

Turn the gain down a little. Make sure noise cancellation is off, and it should work. Also check out the Samson Q2U - way better for that use.

when i connect mine to to my iphone 14 it still only picks up on my phone mic and not the microphone itself:/ everything turns on and i can hear myself through my headphones but when i watch the video back the audio is being picked up from my phone, any help?

iPhones can be super picky and change their settings after the fact. I had a great wireless Lav mic set that stopped working after an iOS update :(
Can I plug this into a usb outlet charger, hook it up to my iPhone and record straight with my iPhone or do I still need to plug it into a computer to capture the sound? Or would a straight video recording still have the same sound coming from it?

I just got this for my iPhone 15. I’m not sure if all apps are compatible with it and in the manual it even said Facetime was not supported. But I was able to record a video directly on my phone in the camera app. Unfortunately I had to unplug the microphone to hear the video. I do have a computer but I did not need to use it to record with the microphone.
@ThePrincetonFamily check out the Moment camera app. Manual controls and audio monitoring. Way better than default app.

How close does your mouth have to be to it roughly? Do you prop yours up on like a box or something so that you don't have to hunch over? Just curious lol
I actually have been. That’s just good mic etiquette 😂. I’ve been using it for a lot of my voiceovers lately because it’s so easy.

It should. Does it not show up as a source? If using audacity I’ve had to close the app and reopen for it to find the new devices.

Audacity is your friend. Takes some getting used to but is cross platform and very powerful… oh and free ;)

The RTX has broadcast tools which can reduce background noise in any application. Otherwise you can use some audio filters in OBS if you’re streaming in it to clean up audio.

There are no speakers to broadcast your voice, It's for recording your voice and then you can play that audio file through speakers- but not live.

Yeti makes good mics but noobs don’t know how to use them (talking to the wrong side/end). This is a budget mic, the Yeti is not :) You can mount the yeti to a boom arm, this you can’t. 🤷🏻♂️

I just got this mic today and can’t figure out why it sounds like garbage. It keeps cutting my voice out mid word while talking and like I’m talking in a pot.

I dislike mics that are made to be close to your mouth and give no mounting options for an arm or stand that can put it there.
You’re talking to a guy that wears a wireless headset during his show ;) I get it though, good mics should be able to get you with some range. A compressor feature would help level it out.
@@TheNetGuy True a download link/usb drive with something like Levelator or one of the live soft compressors or AL noise reduction software to remove Gain Hiss and ambient noise like some OBS plug ins I have played around do.
I guess you could always put a female 1/4 female nut/adaptor on the base with epoxy or superglue.
