    You can only keep so much and wha you actually know you will use definitely the bolts I keep for sure . I got some engines I gotta bust down.

    Come on Henry, if you organized your tools like your finances you could find everything, remember like you said "time is money" 💲

    Cool vid to see you break down the mower and how much parts are worth on eBay. I’ve never considered selling parts on eBay, but maybe I should reconsider.

    Good idea , I keep many of the parts but not always. Space is limited
    Alot of the time I just scrape it . With other metal.

    You probably already know this, but rear wheels from a FWD mower can also be used as front wheels on a RWD. Moreover, those plastic cog-type wheels on a FWD often wear out before the tread does. They too can be repurposed as front wheels on a RWD.

      Of course! I’ll put in whatever wheel that fits

    Impact will pay for itself after the sale on a single mower. Worth every $$$$.
    Snap on impacts are weaker than Milwaukee and cost 4x as much.
    I use my 1/4in dewalt to remove blade and flywheel bolts. rarely fails me.

    • @haneyoakie14
      @haneyoakie14 Před 2 lety +1

      Impacts are especially important now that I amputated 3 fingers on a snowblower. I have 2 or 3 from Fb marketplace

      @@haneyoakie14 how did you manage to do that?

    • @haneyoakie14
      @haneyoakie14 Před 2 lety +1

      @@norge696 I am used to the modern snowblowers that stop the auger when you let go the handle. I was using one of my antique 1976 Snowblowers that have a gearshift. I left it in gear, not thinking, and tried to clear the clogged snow from the chute. It bit me.

    Henry, do you write on the ziplock bag to remember what parts or bolts go to what mower?

    • @MowersNBlowers
      @MowersNBlowers  Před 2 lety +2

      Nah, I put them in a bin with the rest of the parts do I know what mower it’s from

  • @mikespain8655

    The main issue I see with selling parts on EBay is, you have to drive to the post office or UPS every time someone buys a part. That would wear me out for $20 bucks.

    • @YouMadeMeLawn
      @YouMadeMeLawn Před 2 lety +1

      Payments can all be done through eBay these days. And you can schedule pickup through USPS app.

    • @MowersNBlowers
      @MowersNBlowers  Před 2 lety

      I haven’t been to the post office in years. You print the label at home, Quinn the mailman takes my packages away! I don’t even have to leave my house.

    It's NOT a quantum. It is only a Quantum if it says it's a Quantum. Otherwise it's just a regular Briggs engine. Trust me Henry, I've been working on those small engines for 26 years now.

    • @MowersNBlowers
      @MowersNBlowers  Před 2 lety

      Everyone I know knows the difference. If you want to say it’s not a quantum then do what you want! But if it has the square air filter cover, I’ll call it a quantum, you can call it whatever you want! You seem to be the only nut who thinks so!
