Thanks for all the beautiful memories I done the Kinglassie /etive hike when I was yout age with my baby. Also the larig. Even although I can't do the big hikes anymore but I still get out there. Glad to see you having all your brilliant adventures. Good luck
Did the exact same walk last June and made the same mistake at beginning. Camped at Bynack Lodge ruin and then had a very long day into Aviemore for a 61 year old. Beautiful scenery.
The longer format really works, and could easily of been longer. Beautiful scenery, and good to see more of your personality showing, with many jokes and observations. You deserve a far wider audience.
Hi there, I particularly enjoyed your video having just returned from a hike starting in Pytlochry and ending at Loch Ness so at the Red House I went down Glen Feshie but I travelled through the Lairig Ghru a few years back. So thanks for sharing you experience it was fantastic. ATB 👍🏕️👌
Another great video, I must thank you for your Affric Kintail Way video, that inspired me to do the hike in a couple of weeks, really looking forward to it. Thanks again for your inspirational videos 👍
That was certainly worth waiting a bit longer to see, and the clarity of your camera is astonishing. I'm really starting to think that you ought to be the next James Bond, as we've already had Sean Connery. Perhaps if you run into a rival CZcamsr like Liam Brown, there will be a good fight scene, just to give us a taste of how you'd be on the big screen!
You're right about the scale in the Cairngorms. Having walked in the Lairig Ghru, Glen Derry, Glen Tilt & Glen Geldie areas, the distances are huge. A lot of the tracks are excellent. That was 2 huge days, great stuff.
Oh great video wow what a hike. We have had bizarre weather in the U.S. also. Some of the weather honestly I have never seen anything like it before. We can deal with it though and we can adapt if that becomes the norm.
Oh thanks for the reply buddy I look forward to seeing your new video. I have been watching some bothy videos from other channels and watched some about the Grwyne Fawr bothy. I guess it's the U.K.'s smallest bothy. It looks really cool though and has a wood burning stove. The scenery is really nice around it. It has a small upstairs room. One guy said you might be able to fit 7 in it if you know each other well that was funny.
Gregor: This was a wonderful film and well worth waiting for. I am so pleased to have found you on CZcams and gain much vicarious pleasure from following your travels. This walk was magical and the scenery was superb. I'm very happy to leave you a small $Thanks.
Excellent video, great editing and narrative! The views weren't too shabby either ... 😃 I've MTB'd Glen Tilt and the Lairig Ghru, absolutely stunning area. Cheers 🙂👍
I've done this two years back but did it in three days due to it being pretty soggy on day 2. Stoppped at Bynack and the bothy (got a quiet night. Only 2 quiet folk).
That was terrific. It's great to see how the landscape and weather change. It is so rewarding to see you complete a challenge like that. Much appreciated. I just love that part of the country.
What you said about walking is so true! I love going on nature walks too ahaha theyre always so relaxing. Also loved the longer video, beautiful sceneries as usual, love your narrations over the shots instead of music its a good touch to keep us immersed! Anyways thanks for taking us on yet another great and peaceful adventure
I think you had a bit of everything there, eh? I've only seen Glen Tilt from above - on Carn nan Gabhar, one of the three Munroes in the Beinn a Ghlo range that you mentioned. There's a wee Munro top in addition, actually. Nice new bothy right enough - was that when you met Robin? He said he'd met you just coming from there on his video...! But, to just have a wee slice of your stamina: that would be a fine thing indeed! Keep on walking...
HI mate, absolutely brilliant, what a stunning two day hike. The terrain and views were epic. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. I'm on the Cumbria Way trail next week, really looking forward to that. All the best and thanks again Dave
Nice one, good to see the Red Bothy i am doing the TGO Challenge on the 10th May and will be staying in that bothy which does really look good and plenty room, also passing White bridge. A great looking area and scenery looks fantastic. Steve 👍
What a great route-especially brave, given the weather. In Edinburgh this afternoon, it was wet, windy, sunny, and cold all at the same time... and it's almost May!
Excellent video very well shot inspite of some harsh conditions..That bothy looked superb with all the new wood..awesome views of the Cairngorms....well done on a great journey. Best wishes.
The Cairngorms are great. I agree Spring and Autumn are the best. No midges, not too hot, no sunburn. That isnae air rifles by the way😂 The wee horses are hill ponies. They are used to get the deer carcasses off the hills.
Just found your channel yesterday and absolutely loving it

Glad I can bring back some great memories for you through the videos. All the best😊
I did the exact same walk years ago in the opposite direction, camped at Corrour Bothy then the Fals of Tarf.

Thanks Mike. Glad you enjoy the vids😊
hope your channel continues to grow...you do a super job of documenting your beautiful trips, without all the drama. thank you.
Thanks for the kind words 🙏
Great video there, young man. Another fine adventure 👏
Great vlog as usual, thanks for taking us along with you.

Great walk & video. Lol the trip summary at end of vid.

Haha we’ll have to see, thanks for the support

Never heard of that one, sounds cool though
Haha brilliant what a final report weather mental 😂😂 A cracking adventure my friend really enjoyed watching that thanks for sharing 🎥 ⛰️ ⛺️ 👍
Thanks mate, the weather was indeed mental haha. Cheers for the support
I think that the horses that you saw were Highland Ponies. Just keep an eye out for the Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui.
Haha never heard of that but hope i don’t cross paths with it
@@ScottishSummiteer Yeah, he's Scotland's Yeti, and he's supposed to follow people down the mountain.
Fabulous hike , 20 miles a day in all weather and tough terrain fair play to you . Great filming and editing as always.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it

I've MTB'd Glen Tilt and the Lairig Ghru, absolutely stunning area.
Cheers 🙂👍
It’s an incredible area, was blown away by the scenery
If you don't know part of Star Wars Andor was filmed around Glen Tilt and production was based at forest lodge.
Nah didn’t know that, can see why though the area is stunning
I've done this two years back but did it in three days due to it being pretty soggy on day 2. Stoppped at Bynack and the bothy (got a quiet night. Only 2 quiet folk).

@@ScottishSummiteer Thank you mate! 👍
Brilliant mate. Love the cairngorms and stunning glen tilt. Well done 👏
so beautiful. I watched twice. Well done.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Walked a lot of the Lairig Grhu when climbing Cairn Toul, The Angel's Peak and Devil's Point on a monster day out in May of 2023. Great place.
This is beautiful 🙌🏻 stunning landscape and a great video!
Love the Cairngorms for the remoteness, great adventure.

Superb!
Stunning Sir yet again. Keep them coming. Enjoyed that. Wonderful part of our shores.
What a great route-especially brave, given the weather. In Edinburgh this afternoon, it was wet, windy, sunny, and cold all at the same time... and it's almost May!
I can believe that, weather never knows what it wants to do in Scotland
You certainly push yourself mate 👍

Really great video! Could easily watch double that amount!
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks
Summiteer, have you thought of joining the SAS?
Is this a recognised route? Is there a map for this?
It doesn’t come under scotlands great trails. But there’s loads of information about the walk on google 👍
Great video thanks for posting. Sub from me
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
Big anti-climax you didn"t stop in the red bothy.
