    These Flo Motorsports foot pegs are about the coolest looking item that I’ve ever installed on my bike, AND they are an upgrade to the stock pegs. Gives you a wider platform to stand on.

    Beautiful bling! I added these which match nicely with my DIRT TRICKS jet fuel sprocket.

    Had these for just over a year on my bike. Rocks beat them to hell and they snapped off at the peg hole one ride. Lucky I was close to the start of the trail!

    I used channel locks for the spring. Worked great. Just came in next to the kickstand from the back,squeezed the spring down and pin went right in. Btw them pegs look Sick!

    Kyle, I use a pair of spring plyers (they look like conventional plyers but have slots cut in the end, both vertical and horizontal), Just set them in the plyers, squeeze enough to make them fit between peg and frame. Then install pin.

  • @mxgryan

    I dig the look for sure. Do they make them for anything sweet like a Kawi?

    They look pretty good. I always stick to IMS but I like the look of these. I bought a cheap anodized red cnc machined pair of pegs on eBay with replaceable teeth (studs) and they were as good as any $100 to $200 dollar pair of pegs (super strong made in usa not chinese imported junk).

    Jet fuel finish not yet available for beta yet.
    I used safety wire and safety wire pliers to collapse spring for install.
    I think they are more durable and better looking than stock but feel was not aggressive

    Hey Kyle. About 6 months ago I was installing a pair of Fastway EVO foot pegs on my TE150. Long story short, I ended up in emergency till the next morning when an eye surgeon came to see me. I almost lost my right eye when that spring shot out, blew a hole through my glasses and slammed my eye. I had glass shatter in my eye from the impact. I’ve kept a photo of my glasses I wish I could post for everyone here. I’m guessing you were wearing eye protection, right?

      Wow, I wouldn't think a footpeg spring had THAT MUCH tension?? I'll definitely wear safety glasses when I install mine👍. Hope you're doing OK

    Really cool foot pegs ... just wish that the length wasn’t shortened, the width is a huge bonus but that extra half inch of length is very beneficial also . Like you said more control is better

  • @wazzzu88
    @wazzzu88 Před 5 lety

    The pre 2017 footpegs are easy to install with a set of needle nose vise grips, just align the spring to the peg with the pin , clamp the spring to the peg , remove the pin and install. To bad KTM went backwards with their new design. I run KTM adventure pegs on my TE250 and 530 EXC. I find that the wide pegs are more comfortable and steering the bike with the pegs is much easier (a little worse in ruts though).

    I purchased a set of titanium footpegs after riding a season wish I would've got a set of pegs with the replaceable traction spikes cause the titanium I feel wore out quickly

  • @658webster
    @658webster Před 2 lety

    Put the spring in a vise, compress it, and zip tie it. Drop it in, push the pin in and cut the zip tie. I wear saftey glasses though because those euro springs have some gnarly tension. Japanese peg swaps are a piece of cake.

    Kyle, love your vid.s. Have a issue w your supplier. Rocky Mtn ATV. Went to the showroom in Payson and found ziltch. It's not a showroom at all. I was so excited to be there, walked in and it was a loud dud. You would think that a major retail outlet store would actually have a retail store. The guys looked like they were kinda like a dead bug on your windscreen on a warm evening down by the lake. Don't get me wrong fabulous online store but a retail store, Nah.

    Using a socket to press on the spring makes for an easy install. Much easier than a screw driver or pliers.

    Bruh............the struggle bus on that install. I love ya bro, but add a drop of lube and check for alignment. Don't always need the hammer to make things work lol.

    Why spotlight??? What’s wrong with the stock pegs? Yes they look cool.... but running fuel and tires makes the betterment. Maybe explain the advantages of wider pegs vs the length.

    Or, you can go on ebay, look up "airtime" footpegs and get the exact same thing for $27. Just sayin.

      You seemed sure of yourself so I did as you said&went on EBay. $57.99-59.99 & that's for single color, they don't even show jet fuel.I can't even buy 1 for $27 & those are far from jet fuel. Plz let me know where you're getting this great deal.thanks
